This was an Amazing tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We saw walked around the entire ghetto and went in two synagogues. Highly recommend.
Elena was fantastic! She is well versed in the culture and history of the ghetto. We learned so much, in our time spent together! I would highly recommend this tour. I would definitely ask for Elena. She was such a kind and gracious person…very passionate about her people's history.
We really enjoyed our tour. Jen was very knowledgeable, interesting and engaging. The tour flew by for adults and kids both. We loved how authentic it was and how passionate the guide was about the area.

Jeni was a fabulous guide! Friendly, fun, knowledgeable and very connected to the local community. Her friendly approach helped our kids stay engaged and actually learn some history!! We loved understanding more about Venetian history and the community of Jews that lived in this area. Jeni was fantastic- highly recommend!
Elena provided an outstanding tour by providing us with a great historical overview of the Jewish Ghetto and the history of the Jewish people in Venice. The tour was very complete as we saw all of the synagogues of the ghetto. Wonderful experience!
This tour was incredible - personal, deeply rooted in history and space, warm, informational, meaningful. I’ve done tons of walking tours of cities, and this is hands-down one of the best.
Elena led our small group of 5 on this tour. She lives in the ghetto area and her husband’s family had direct experience with deportation. Therefore, the tour was most authentic and emotional. She shared how life is as a Jew living in Venice. The synagogues we visited were beautiful. Don’t miss this experience.
