We made the serata with pic nic, music and candles in the garden. Event during the month of August. Very charming city, we took a bus from the center of Turin and stopped at the train station. Wonderful event and we came back at 23:30 by bus too. Picnic baskets with two food options. Wine, Aperol spritz and refreshments available to buy and make the picnic in the garden!

The Royal Palace of Venaria Reale is undoubtedly one of the most impressive monumental complexes in the surroundings of Turin, capable of surprising for its grandeur and for some of the highest expressions of European Baroque that it guards. The interiors are spectacular: large, bright and scenic halls perfectly convey the idea of Savoy magnificence. Also interesting are the exhibitions dedicated to the Savoy, useful to better understand the history of the residence and its historical context. Very successful section of the stables, probably the most suggestive part of the route: here you can admire the royal Bucintoro and several historical carriages, fascinating testimonies of court life. The real strength, however, remain the gardens, well-kept and really pleasant to explore. Walking among pyramid-pruned badgers, hornbeam groups, rose and wisteria lodges makes the visit relaxing and scenic at the same time. The Garden of Fluid Sculptures by Giuseppe Penone is also beautiful, adding a very interesting contemporary touch to the experience.

I went to visit the cherry blossom in the gardens of the Reggia di Venaria. I thought better. There's not all that color like in the pictures, Dispersive Trees. Too many people scrambled under the plants to walk or take decent pictures. Park to be fixed.

in addition to the beautiful building there are immense gardens and very well maintained, my wife and I visited them in December and so you can not evaluate the beauty, I recommend a visit in spring to give an objective judgment.

The palace of Venaria is certainly one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited .. it was the dynasty of Savoy when Turin was the capital of the Savoy state .. you can admire paintings depicting all the Savoy from Victor Emmanuel to Mary Clotilde of Savoy . well cared for also the garden with ornamental plants .. I did not queue at the entrance as I had already bought the ticket online

At the ticket office they are kind in advising you what type of ticket to buy. The Palace is an immense place, full of history, dreamy. The gardens are immense and inside there is also the train, for a fee, to be able to visit the low gardens faster. I also recommend a visit to the Castle of the Herd that I had included in the ticket, and I recommend renting bicycles right in front of the entrance to the Palace, from Ride Alone Royal bike. A very nice guy will rent you pedal assist bikes. There is no effort and you can visit the gardens of the Castle of the Herd which are very extensive with various dining options.

The most memorable part was dealing with Viator staff who did nothing to help when their tour operator who gave us a confirmation 3 weeks ago cancelled at the last minute. We had to scramble to find a way to get to the palace at a very costly way. The staff didn’t even advise that you can get unguided tickets directly at the palace. In sum it was a costly and terrible experience that would prevent me from using Viator again in the future.

What a beautiful place. Super interesting tour with audio guides. The rooms are large and beautiful. Allow at least 2 hours. Beautiful gardens.

Highly recommended visit, especially on a sunny day. I suggest you book the entrance and get the audio guide. Sometimes too detailed, but you can choose what to listen to. Take half an hour to visit the gardens.
