Valladolid turned out to be a city with rich history and many beutiful sights! Our guide Javier knows a lot about the city, and gave us very good local recommendations. Javier could not meet with us at the original scheculed time, so we reschedulin the tour to the next day. Javier gave us lots of details about the city and its history. The tour goes for around 2.5 hours so make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and get plenty of water, as Spain tends to be hot during the day!
Nuria was knowledgeable and friendly. She described the history and culture of her native city in an approachable and understandable way. Encountering a couple of her friends and relatives along the way was a bonus – I felt like I was part of the city. This was a wonderful tour.
very nice city that had mostly peaceful and chill vibes, had a good time walking around and exploring, would recommend visiting the campo grande (great park)
Valladolid was a city that we did not know and has surprised us favorably. Special recommendation for the National Museum of Sculpture
The tour was informative but was rushed with a torrent of information at every turn. Lots of facts but not a lot of context. Not a tour for everyone.
A beautiful, vibrant city with a lot of history and culture. Culinary offerings are also great. Many old churches with beautiful altars can be admired, as well as museums and a walk through the city park "Campo Grande" should be planned.
We got a big surprise. We found it to be a very nice, clean, bright and friendly city. It has a lot of history. Javi was an excellent guide
We have taken a free tour in Civitatis to get to know Valladolid. The guide, Ana, who could be a monologuist, has made us laugh and know places that do not appear in the guides. He has also advised us where to eat and where to visit. A resounding 10.
Very nice visit , city to discover museums and monuments... nice architecture and large parks to stroll, many pedestrian streets.
I didn’t know Valladolid and the surprise I got when walking around the city walking its streets and visiting its monuments was simply fantastic, because Valladolid deserves to be visited at street level; its main monuments are in a radius of no more than 800 meters, and you can walk perfectly: the Museum-house of Cervantes should not miss visiting. It has a perfect collection of the items of the period worth mentioning. The Plaza Mayor, from which we carried some disappointment because they were building within it a whole metal stage that made us lose perspective of its eleza. St. Paul's Square, majestic, as a prelude to the visit to the Museum of Sculpture, nestled in a privileged 15th century construction, a beautiful example of Elizabethan Gothic, where the Republic installed the museum. The Gutierrez Passage, which disappointed me, mostly because of the expectations I had created and many other places worth seeing.
