I booked Mark for transfer to our resort because he seemed to be Facebook famous! No, seriously, every time I seen a review of St. Lucia Mark was in it. I am typically nervous being a passenger in a different environment than I’m not accustomed to but Mark’s driving and customer service is top notch! As soon as my husband and I arrived at our resort we knew we wanted to book with Mark for a specialized island tour. Thankfully he was available and it certainly did not disappoint! We picked where we wanted to go, he never rushed us and took amazing photos the entire time. We’ve done plenty of excursions when visiting new islands but nothing compares to the individualized experience we had with Mark! We actually look forward to our transfer back to UVF and any future trips to St. Lucia we will book Rising Sun Taxi.

It was an absolute pleasure to utilize Rising Sun Taxi Service for our airport transfers. From the first contact to our arrival at home, Mark was a true gentleman and was quick to respond to our queries and comments. He drives a Toyota Land Cruiser that is impecably kept and a pleasure to sit in. What we really enjoyed was the animated conversation to our resort; Mark made the time fly buy and before we knew it we had arrived at the resort. A very professional outfit. The transportation was hassle free and very efficient. Communication with Mark was above standard and I had no concerns with logistics. I will use Rising Sun when I return to St. Lucia.

Mark was an excellent guide.He was knowledgeable,attentive and amusing. He explained the history of St Lucia, culture and current issues .We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Mark is a man of his word, you can depend on him to pick you up when he says. He is also very knowledgeable about the island. We had a scheduled tentative tour but had to cancel die to illness. He was very understanding. But that did change his attitude about our pickup to go back to uvf. He was there on time and very friendly.

Mark took care of my sister and I in 2024 when we visited. He was the first one we called when our mother decided to visit the island in 2026. Mark is kind, knowledgeable, high-spirited, and an absolute Joy overall. Not only is he timely, but he takes pride in what he does. We would recommend Mark to anyone traveling to St. Lucia. Highly recommend Mark at Rising Sun Taxi Service! We first met Mark when he picked us up from the airport and ended up booking a private island tour with him too. It was one of the best decisions we made on the trip.His SUV was clean and comfortable and Mark really knows the island. We got to see the Pitons, waterfalls, mud baths, viewpoints, the rum factory and a chocolate tour, just to name a few. We even stopped for lunch at a great local restaurant overlooking the Pitons. The best part was being able to customize the day instead of being stuck on a big group tour. Mark took care of everything and made the whole day easy and fun.Also don’t miss his wife’s rum punch! Seriously the best on the island. If you’re in St. Lucia and need a taxi or want to see the island I definitely recommend Mark!

After reading all the positive reviews for Mark at Rising Sun and the long trip from UVF to the Royalton I reached out and booked with Rising Sun. What a great choice that was, from the moment we arrived at the airport Mark was waiting for us with a cold beer and a smile. A great guy who made the long journey a pleasure. Showing us the sights and taking us to the viewpoint en route for a stretch and a photo. Cannot recommend Mark highly enough, will be using for all future trips to St Lucia. My only regret is we didn’t use him for a tour, we ran out of time but will definitely book one on our next visit now that we have done the boat tour.
