Wadi Thaena… well worth a visit!
This is a great little tour, a very early start and a bit of a drive from the city but well worth it for people looking to do something more than the usual attractions around Dubai.
I did a solo hike and Chris, my guide, was great. Good conversation, great knowledge about the area, the geology and the local wildlife.
I highly recommend getting up into the Hajar Mountains if you want to try something new.

Professional group hike
I joined ECC on a hike to Caves of Yabir in Fujairah. The whole process of booking and meeting the group was smooth and easy. I was glad they offered transportation options. The hike itself was amazing with great views and a nice group. The guides are professional and helpful, and always keep track of time and distance. Overall, I would highly recommend a hike with ECC if you’re looking to escape the city and clear your mind.

Great hike with ECCA
Loved hiking with ECCA! Chris and his team are very knowledgeable and friendly! Hike was just beautiful and a perfect way to start exploring UAE and its treasures after our recent move! I was so nicely surprised by the mountains! And so many trails there! It’s best to go with knowledgeable guides that are well prepared and friendly other hikes from ECCA as it’s otherwise easy to get lost! I will be back after the summer!

I joined because I didn't speak English and was anxious, but I was a very kind guide who shared some things to note and what's great.
If you love nature, we highly recommend you to join us.
I was having trouble getting to the meeting place, but I was also able to ask for a cheap hotel transfer.
