Loved the hike into the falls and swim with the fish. Lunch was delicious. We were fortunate to have some lovely travelling companions. Would recommend
Did this with my 15-year-old and 11 year-old. The hike is challenging but not long. We went to Level 4. We had the option to go to Level 5 but opted not to go and stayed and swam in the pool with the fish. The pool is not deep, it's cold and clean, but if you are squeamish with the fish you might not want to get in. The scenery is stunning. The temple is really cool, but we wished we had had a little more time to explore the area more!
We had a fabulous day,tuk tuk was a brilliant guide- very informative and helpful. The waterfall was absolutely beautiful and we even had a bonus of seeing an elephant walking up the road.
This was a funny trip - medium level walk through the jungle with bees and bugs but was worthwhile. Small kids may take longer, but it isn’t dangerous at all. Waterfall was nice and we also had food in a beautiful place on the way back. On route we visited a temple which was also nice.
Wonderful site. It was good to be in the forest with the rain even if it made the conditions more difficult. Leaves and rain: it slips and the rocks become small ice rinks!
The tour takes you to a temple (Wat Huay Mongkol) which has a giant monk rather than a buddha with lots of Thai pilgrims and then on west to the waterfall in the Kraeng Kachan National Park in the mountains on the Myanmar border, which is a beautiful location. The hike up to the 4th level of the falls is supposed to be 1.5km. Parts are quite steep requiring clambering over rocks where there are ropes to help you maintain balance. People with normal fitness should have no problem. But it's not suitable for very small children, elderly etc. Our 6 year old managed OK. You can get into the water at the pools at the 4th level. The pools at the 3rd and 4th level are full of carp and the soldiers/rangers sell food to tourists to feed the fish. This turns them effectively into fish farms. Am surprised this is allowed in a national park (suspect it is a scam that is not allowed in theory). The swarms of fish, which can only be so numerous due to continuous feeding, detract from the experience of nature. After returning from the falls we were taken to a nearby outdoor restaurant (under shade) for lunch in a rural area near the national park. The food is OK. The tour was well organized and the guide, Pom, was quite knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly. The day we went there were two minibuses and so we only had him on the bus from Hua Hin up to the temple on the way out. The only wildlife we saw were huge numbers of butterflies at the falls, I had thought we might see more than that.
Bobby our tourguide was great, his english was perfect and was so nice. First we visit the temple and after a 1 hour drive, we completed a 2-hour hike through the jungle to reach these stunning waterfalls. It was tough, but the view was absolutely worth it. Not the most beautiful waterfall I have seen but the hike experience in the beautiful jungle was 10/10. Recommend wearing sneakers or hiking boots because the stones are slippery, you gotta be fit to reach level 5 of the jungle but we did it.

There was only me, my friend and one guy so we had a little intim group at the trip. Trip was nice and the guide was so nice and told us so much about thai culture. Would recommend.

A 12 seater hiace picks me up at the hotel and total of five people plus guide leave from Huahin. Stop at a Buddhist temple on the way for twenty minutes for some photos and then to a national park just over an hour from Huahin. Few hills and a dirt paths later arriving at a small Waterfall for swimming. Afterwards taken to a lunch venue for simple meal with a view and back at hotel around 1530pm. It's a pleasant day and decent value for money. Are there better waterfalls in Thailand? No doubt. Is it fun to do if you're on holiday? Yep. Don't regret.

Such a wonderful tour. Picked up in an immaculate air conditioned mini bus with. Wonderful driver and lovely, happy, friendly and knowledgeable guide. Despite the rain, our guide Nook took us around the beautiful temple and shared its history and it’s faith, giving us offerings and gold leaf to gift to the temple (amazing) We then drive into the mountains to visit the waterfall, all the way Nook shared with us Thai culture, faith and the rich history of the King in a lively and entertaining way. We saw an wild elephant cross the road as we entered the National park! The waterfall itself it’s beautiful, nestled in the jungle. We saw many butterflies and a monkey! We fed the fish, climbed the waterfalls (not for those with mobility issues at all) and swam in the falls with the hundreds of fish. We then set off for lunch in a traditional Thai cafe, which was beautifully set out in gorgeous grounds. Omg the food was incredible, we are vegetarian and we’re well catered for, veggie soup, Thai curry, sweet & sour veg, and stir fried veggies with tons of steamed rice. This trip was worth every penny! Loved it!
Thank you so much for this thorough review. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that our guide, Nook, took good care of you. We appreciate your recommendation and are delighted that you booked this trip with us.
