Went out on the afternoon of July 3rd. We saw a pod of dolphins and watched them for about 20 minutes. We saw momma and young baby (calves) swimming next to each other. It was the largest pod I’ve seen. Our guide had great info and I learned a lot. I would highly recommend this tour!
This was our first time touring with Oceanside Adventures. Check in was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw some common dolphins and some sun fish, but unfortunately we didn’t see any whales during our tour. Even though we didn’t see any whales this time our kids had a great time out on the water. We would definitely go on a tour again with Oceanside Adventures next time we’re in Oceanside.
Unfortunately we could not spot any whale or dolphin , it became a 2 hour water watching trip.
A fun experience. Really nice boat and crew. We did see lots of dolphins and a couple of seals but no whales or sharks.
We chose to book the 12pm boat ride so that we had enough time to eat breakfast first. When we arrived, the stand was easy to find where we had to check in first before receiving the entry tickets. The boat ride didn’t meet our expectations. It was long, we were cold mostly because I didn’t expect it so I didn’t dress for it and we didn’t see any animals except a couple of birds. I have been on several other dolphin watching tours in other states and the boat crew always stopped the boat in areas that they knew there was a better chance to see them. Today’s boat ride felt like we went out into the ocean for about an hour and turned right back around. TIP: Bring a sweatshirt or a light jacket.
Do it!!! We saw a humpback whale and her calf. The calf did a full body breach. We were able to watch for a while. The staff is amazing!!! So dedicated to making sure you see whales. The even stayed out longer than they were supposed too. I loved this tour.
No whales or dolphins but got free shipping pass for next time

Great tour to experience with family. We saw a ton of dolphins and a few sun fish swimming along the boat side. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. It wasn't overcrowded which was perfect for us to either sit or stand out on the deck easily. I would highly recommend while in Oceanside.

You need to bring a jacket or a sweatshirt. We really got fast access to the ocean. We found a pod with hundreds of dolphins. Amazing. They were feeding and we literally got a show of jumping dolphins that surpasses anything SeaWorld could do.
