石垣でタートルシュノーケリング 流暢な英語！ 小グループ!

We had a great half day snorkelling with Zohar at Yonehara Beach. Zohar is very experienced and knew where to find the fish and turtles. He was knowledgeable about the different species of fish and enthusiastic when we spotted a rare species (eg. A Napoleon Wrasse and a Hawksbill Turtle). He was also punctual and the group was small as promised allowing for personal attention. He was safety conscious and attentive. Driving to and from the beach he shared his knowledge of culture and customs from his 10 years living on Ishigaki. A great day. We decided to do a second tour to Blue Cave with Zohar and had another excellent experience. He arranged to leave very early to beat the crowds which was a great idea. Thanks Zohar!

We were on a day tour with the whole family…(3 children aged 8, 11, and 14) it was very varied, the snorkeling was sensational, the guide provided great support to our 8-year-old son during the 2-hour snorkeling tour…especially the fact that the guide speaks English and we could ask all our questions about Japan, Ishigaki, and the flora and fauna was an extra highlight…very recommendable!

Fantastic day of snorkeling in a small group with Zohar - an instructive and overall fantastic guide. He knows the waters around Ishigaki very well and can make the most of the time in the water. Besides the snorkeling, he also showed us a hidden place with a beautiful view of Ishigaki. An extra plus he speaks fluent English.

We had an amazing experience with Zohar for a half day snorkelling in Ishigaki. He was super attentive to all members (7 people in our group) especially the only child there who is my daughter to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment in the water. We saw the sea turtoise for a several times and it was breathtaking and unforgetable! We had the chance to swim with the sea turtoise twice but other groups from other divers or agencies were being too agressive and swam too close to the turtle for photo-taking and our group chose to keep a distance to enjoy watching this wonderful sea creature instead of having a photo for other reasons. This amazing experience is good enough to keep for life! We also saw nemos, sea snake, garopas, triggerfishes , sea cucumbers and many colourful fishes! We also enjoyed the peach pineapples from Zohar to end our trip. I highly recommend this tour for you if you come to Ishigaki. Zohar speaks fluent English and he is an awesome guide!

The tour was just average. The small group size was a plus, and the guide spoke decent English, but the actual time spent snorkeling in the water was way too short. For the price they charge, I expected a much better experience or at least a longer tour. It felt like a tourist trap. You can probably find a much better and cheaper tour option in Ishigaki.

Unforgettable experience with Zohar. He was a great host, very generous, considerate, funny and knowledgable. During our trip we saw sea turtles, reef sharks, sea snakes, moray eels, and plenty of fish! Zohar provided everything we needed and more, and gave a great insight into both sea life and Ishigaki itself. We will cherish the photos and videos taken on this tour. I cannot recommend this activity enough.

There is a reason this tour has 5 stars, and it will likely keep getting 5 stars because it is highly deserved. Everything about this tour is worth your time and money, and Zohar will make sure you are taken care of. Taking photos / videos, providing insight on the ecology of the reef, having snack and shower after the tour, and of course...making sure you see plenty of turtles! This tour begins earlier than most others so that you beat the crowd to the reef, and have a quieter more personalized experience. I can't recommend this tour enough, and if you can book your other tours with Discover Ishigaki, you won't be disappointed!

We had a fantastic snorkeling trip with Discover Ishigaki and our guide Zohar Paz. The scenery both above and below the water was amazing, and we were lucky to see beautiful coral, colorful fish, and sea turtles. We felt very welcome and safe throughout the entire tour. Zohar was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared lots of interesting information along the way. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ishigaki!

I recommend this tour provider 100%! I booked the turttle half-day snorkeling experience. It includes pickup, great van (air conditioner and water-proof seats), great Guide (Zohar) and the size of the group is just perfect (we were 5). The snorkel equipment is TOP tier, the place we went is easy to access and the coral, fish is just beach-accessible and super close. The tour is safe, well organized, good for beginners and also for experienced people. We had a great day, we saw plenty of animals: sea snake, nemo, clown tiggerfish, turttle, a LOT of colorfoul fish - many many spieces! Zohar took us to the blue cave too, we saw blue coconout crabs!!! He gifted us local pineapple, plenty of water, and he also showed us a bit of Jungle walk (we saw lizards and a snake!) Plus on top off that - he recorded amazing pictures of us and videos meanwhile 😍 he sends them afterwards. This is one of the best tours I have done, honestly! Thank you!

I had an amazing experience swimming with turtles with Zohar as the guide in Ishigaki. Previously, I also booked a snorkeling tour with a group in Naha, but perhaps because the tour group in Naha was larger, I did not feel like I made the most of my experience there as there were moments that I felt the tour guides did not pay attention to whether or not I was having a good time. I only saw one small turtle at a distance in Naha. My tour with Zohar in Ishigaki was different. It felt more personalized as the tour consisted of a smaller group of people. I was a solo traveller and there was another couple on the tour. Zohar has a sharp and witty sense of humor. He really delivers as promised. During the tour, we not only saw one turtle, but if I counted correctly, we swam very closely to maybe at least five turtles in the two hour period that we were snorkeling. There was one special moment to me that I will never forget. We were waiting for a turtle to swim up to the surface, and I remember I had only momentarily, playfully, and telepathically asked the turtle to swim towards me. The strange thing is that it seemed to have worked, so much that if I had not moved my arms when the turtle was swimming towards our direction and was passing by me, I think the turtle would have brushed against my arm. Thanks to Zohar, the memory not only lives in my mind but I also have a photo of that encounter as well. It felt very ethereal to be able to swim so close to and alongside turtles like that.
