1920 年代に建てられたモダニズム建築、カサ カルボネル。 伝説によると、これは疫病が流行しているときにアルコイから到着した繊維産業の経営者が、その謙虚な姿に屈辱を感じて注文したものだと言われています。
18 世紀に建てられたアリカンテ市庁舎は、バレンシアの民間バロック様式の代表的な例です。 メインファサードには、建物を囲む 2 つの対称的な塔が特徴的です。 左の塔には時計があり、通常の「IV」の代わりにローマ数字の「IIII」が使用されています。これは、歴史的伝統に遡る時計製造の一般的な慣習です。
かつてこの広場は公開処刑が行われた場所であったため、絞首台広場として知られていました。 この砦は古い城壁とその主要な門の 1 つに隣接しており、住民を処刑するための戦略的な拠点でした。処刑は、市内に出入りするすべての人の目の前で行われました。
かつてバルカス広場として知られていたこの広場は、現在の名前はアリカンテの有名な作家ガブリエル・ミロに由来しており、1929年以来この広場にはミロの像が設置されています。 それは、 アリカンテの人々と街の中心にある木陰と静けさのオアシス。
この歩行者専用道路は、色とりどりの大きなキノコで飾られたことで有名になりました。この芸術的な介入により、この道路は子供たちや写真愛好家の象徴となっています。
1847 年にオープンしたテアトロ プリンシパルは、アリカンテの文化の中心地です。 イオニア式の柱を備えた新古典主義のファサードは、街の建築象徴のひとつです。
ベナカンティル山の斜面に位置するこの絵のように美しい地区には、狭い通り、白塗りの家屋、急な階段など、ムーア人の居住様式が残っています。
これは市内で最も古い寺院であり、レコンキスタ後に古いモスクの上に建てられました。 ゴシック様式のファサードとバロック様式の細部が、何世紀にもわたるその進化を物語っています。
ベナカンティル山の頂上に位置するこの城は、イスラム時代から戦略的な要塞でした。 スペイン最大の中世の要塞の一つです。 その起源は9世紀に遡り、 イスラム教徒。
スペイン広場はアリカンテの主要なオープンスペースの 1 つで、中央市場のすぐ隣に位置しています。 商業活動が盛んであり、文化施設や伝統的な地区に近いことから、賑やかなエリアとなっています。
同じエリアには、1847 年に開設され、バレンシア州で最も古い闘牛場の一つである歴史的なアリカンテ闘牛場があります。 ここでは闘牛ショー、コンサート、人気イベントなどが開催されてきました。 その用途は進化していますが、都市遺産として非常に重要な建物であり続けています。
ここはサン・ファンの焚き火の際のマスクレタの出発点です。 毎年 6 月には、アリカンテ最大の祭りを祝うために何千人もの人々がここに集まります。
城のふもと、歴史的中心部の隣にあるこの都会のビーチは、バレンシア州で最も有名なビーチの 1 つです。 その名前は、街と海岸を結んでいた古い小門（第二の扉）に由来しています。 今日はツアーの後にリラックスするのに最適な場所です。 遊歩道、ヤシの木、穏やかな海が広がります。

Guide was good, nice friendly, saw some sights, only complaint is the tour on Viator said 1.5 hours and we were cut to 55 minutes. Seems they overbooked as they reached out early and tried to reschedule but we were in a cruise ship and could not.
Slightly disappointed. Firstly though, we couldn't fault the lady driver. Friendly, helpful and informative. Some very good historical titbits. However, it felt slightly underwhelming, perhaps because we are residents and knew a fair bit anyway. It covered the old town, new town, mushroom street, bullring, castle etc. Took 50 mins not 70 (maybe we didn't ask enough questions). The lady kindly altered our drop off point, which was appreciated. On the negatives, the tuktuk is not fantastically accessible if you have leg or knee issues. The tour commentary needed speakers really, rather than talking over road noise. And we didn't get our complementary water. Mixed review but on balance worth it for being something different.
Ride was nice but driver was too fast. Recommend to drive slower to appreciate the sites xxxxxxcxxxx
Too expensive for what it is, not worth it, very little explanation, the girl was nice but she hardly spoke Spanish, which was the option I chose when making the reservation... a brief tour of unimportant parts of Alicante, or at least that is how we felt due to the lack of explanation... the only thing I can highlight is passing by Zetas Street and knowing how to get to Santa Catalina Castle, which of course we went to afterward, because they only gave us 10 minutes and we could only reach the door where we asked... quality-price ratio 0.

Sinceramente, nos resulta difícil entender una valoración tan extrema cuando la mayor parte de sus críticas se refieren a expectativas que no forman parte del producto contratado. La ruta, la duración, las paradas y el carácter panorámico del tour están descritos con total claridad antes de reservar. Un recorrido en tuk tuk por Alicante no es una visita guiada de varias horas al Castillo de Santa Bárbara ni una excursión a pie por cada monumento de la ciudad. Pretender lo contrario es simplemente no haber leído la descripción de la actividad. 🖤🛺 También resulta sorprendente afirmar que hubo “nula explicación” mientras destaca varios lugares que descubrió durante el recorrido y que visitó posteriormente gracias a las indicaciones recibidas. Si realmente no hubiera existido explicación alguna, difícilmente habría obtenido esa información. Respecto al idioma, la guía realiza tours en español de forma habitual. Que su acento o forma de expresarse no haya sido de su agrado es una cuestión completamente distinta a afirmar que “casi no hablaba español”. Lamentamos que sus expectativas fueran diferentes a la experiencia contratada, pero el tour se realizó exactamente conforme a la descripción publicada y aceptada en el momento de la reserva. ☀️💨
We had to rearrange plans and Dori who was our tour guide was brilliant in helping rearrange and make it work for us. She was fkixibke, friendly and very knowledgeable on the tour. All round we really enjoyed the experience due to the friendly and helpfull guide.

We started the holiday with this tour and it was a great way to orientate yourself in the city and get a good overview and some history before exploring on one’s own. Highly recommend.

The tour started off great . Dori our driver messaged me 10 minutes before expected time to explain where she was . The tour is really good , the tuk tuk was electric, so nice and quiet. She took us around the city and all the time pointing out interesting things with a commentary too . We even went up to the castle for 15 minutes which was good for photo opportunities. All in all a great way to see the city . Thanks Dori, you were fab .

Our driver was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and kept us on schedule throughout the trip. Dropped us at cruise port entrance so we didn’t have to fight traffic and bus ride.
