パーククローンタラットはタイ最大かつ最も有名な花市場で、24時間年中無休で営業しています。 その名は「運河の河口の市場」を意味し、長い歴史を反映している。 もともとは18世紀に水上市場であったが、その後魚市場となり、1950年代に現在の活気ある花市場へと変貌した。 市場は、バラ、蘭、ジャスミン、マリーゴールド、蓮の花が延々と並び、五感にとってごちそうである。 業者は見事なスピードと技術で花輪やアレンジメントを手作りし、毎日全国から新鮮な配達が届きます。 ここでの訪問は、単に花を愛でるだけではありません。祭り、儀式、供物に花が不可欠であるタイの生活と伝統を垣間見ることができます。 色、香り、エネルギーに溢れたパーククローンタラットは、バンコクで最も魅惑的な場所のひとつです。
ジャイアント・スイング、またはサオチンチャはバンコクの最も印象的なランドマークの一つであり、街のシンボルです。 旧市街の中心部、壮大なワット・スタートの真正面にそびえ立つ、赤い建物がそびえ立つ姿は見逃せません。 18世紀に建てられたブランコは、かつてヒンドゥー教の神シヴァ神を祀る古代バラモンの儀式で使われていた。 豊作の探求を象徴する大胆な儀式で、若者は空高く振った。 儀式は行われなくなりましたが、ジャイアントスイングはバンコクの文化的、宗教的遺産を魅力的に思い起こさせます。 今日、ブランコは市内で最も撮影されている場所の1つであり、ラッタナコシン島を探索する訪問者のお気に入りの立ち寄り先となっている。 青空を背景に昼間に撮影しても、夕方にライトアップしても、ジャイアントスイングは必見のランドマークであり、バンコクの思い出にぴったりの背景です。

Absolutely LOVED this night time small group Tuk-Tuk tour (which included 2 different boat rides as well), concluding in Chinatown! Wish I could give more stars than 5! Paola was an amazing guide - I learned so much from her about the history of Thailand, the various kings over hundreds of years, Buddhist beliefs, customs, language, …I could go on and on! And she had a good sense of humor, too, which added to the fun! Take this small group tour - you won’t forget it!!

Our tour with Paula was great! She showed us the most important spots in Bangkok. Despite the rain, it was a great experience! We started by boat and then switched to the tuk-tuk. We made stops again and again: to take pictures, to eat, and to look around. The food was very delicious! Bangkok in the dark with the lights was definitely beautiful! For those who just want to see everything briefly, this tour is just the right thing!

Great overall experience with Paula, who was our guide. It rained just before we were to start which delayed our start time but this was made up for. It was nice to see the sites at night, gave a different perspective.

It was most definetly worth the price we paid for all the exciting stuff we did. Paula was very helpful in getting tickets. We took Tuk Tuks and i even tried bugs. I would say its pretty suitable for any group. The experience was paced well were we'd spend time at tge different stops and learnt information about them. Chinatown was very lively and packed but had everything from mango sticky rice to crickets and worms.
