ほとんどの訪問者がロンドン塔に到着し、ジュエル・ハウスの混雑した部屋や長い列を見つける。 このツアーでは、そんな事が起こる前に、中に入ってもらいます。 20名までのグループで参加し、塔の中世の外壁に沿ってガイド付き散策からスタートします。裏切り者の門、王室の囚人、テムズ川側の城壁などの物語を網羅しています。 塔が一般公開される前に、ヨーマン・ウォーダーがあなたのグループを率いてビーフイーター開会式に臨みます。ここではヨーマン・ウォーダーが正装の軍服を着て行進し、軍事的な正確さで要塞のロックを解除します。 ほとんどの参拝者が目にすることのない生きた儀式である。 セレモニーの直後、列ができる前に、クラウンジュエルへの初日のアクセスのためにジュエルハウスに向かいます。 1日入場券と付属の地図・音声ガイドアプリで、ホワイトタワー、ブラッディタワー、タワーグリーンなどを自分のペースで探索できます。

ロンドン塔ギフトショップの外でガイドと合流し、チェックインとウェルカムブリーフィングを行います。 ここからガイドに従って中世の外壁に沿って進み、古代の堀、裏切り者の門、テムズ川に面する城壁を通り、王室の囚人や伝書烏、何世紀にもわたる陰謀の物語を聞きながら進みます。
塔が一般公開される前に、ヨーマン・ウォーダーが横の入口からグループを案内し、誰もいない要塞へと入ります。 正装の制服を着たヨーマン・ウォーダーが中庭を行進し、ロンドン塔の門を軍事的な正確さでアンロックする様子を眺めましょう。この儀式は、ほとんどの訪問者が目撃することのない生きた王室の儀式です。
列ができる前に、まずはジュエルハウスに向かい、クラウンジュエルへの初日アクセス。 2,800個以上のダイヤモンドがセットされたインペリアル・ステート・クラウンと、世界最大の無色カットのダイヤモンドがトッピングされたソブリンズ・セプターに驚嘆。
ガイドされた部分が完成したら、終日入場チケットと付属の地図と音声ガイドアプリを使って、自分のペースで要塞の隅々まで探検できます。 ホワイトタワーの武器庫、ブラッディタワー、タワーグリーン、チャペルロイヤルなど、1日を通して探してみましょう。

Great guide (Lee) was fun, energetic, funny, and knowledgeable. He is the consummate professional guide - ensuring his guests are happy and able to enjoy the historical buildings/elements while understanding their significance and history. Lee's commentary was informative, and he provided very helpful logical information that enhanced our enjoyment is the Tower AND Crown Jewels. We were the first in the door to see the Crown Jewels (thank you, Lee!!!) Great tour and highly recommended.

The opening ceremony tour with The Tour Guy is worth every penny. Our guide, Lee, was friendly, funny, informative and, best of all, able to get us in to see the opening ceremony and the Crown Jewels before anyone else. Had we booked on our own, we wouldn’t have been first in which is critical if you want to actually see anything. Highly recommend and if you can, request Lee!
