Everything perfect, the guide was interesting and precise, the cathedral is simply wonderful and it is worth visiting it with someone who knows how to describe it.
First of all I want to say the actual tour guide that walk us through the cathedral was good and that is why i give 2 stars instead of 1. BUT EVENT TOURS organization was really BAD. 1) they gave us a meeting point in a very crowded area but failed to tell us that they sign was a green umbrella, so I had to go asking around and once I found them they were unpolite as if it was my fault. 2) they do not ADVISE that there is a strict outfit policy to enter the Cathedral. My daughter that was well dress but with her back and shoulder not fully covered (it was 36 degrees in Cordoba) was NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER. I am talking about a european girl elegantly dressed for a mediterranean summer, nothing outrageous. But the worse part is that is not written anywhere!!, neither on the tickets and we were not advise by EVENT TOURS before entering. Even worse, EVENT TOURS DID NOT DEFEND US on the issue at the door.

Regarding the entrance to the Mosque-Cathedral, it is important to explain that this monument has its own access rules, including a dress code, which all visitors and tour companies must follow. As it is an active Catholic place of worship, the monument has the right to request clothing considered appropriate for the space. Unfortunately, our guide cannot override or modify these rules at the entrance. Even so, we understand how frustrating this situation must have been, especially on such a hot day, and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We also take note of your comments about the meeting point information and staff treatment, as they help us improve our communication and service. Thank you again for sharing your experience.

It was a tour in Spanish, and through the lively gestures, I was able to understand much more easily!

La visite que vous avez réservée était effectivement prévue en espagnol, comme indiqué au moment de la réservation. À votre arrivée, notre équipe a cherché à vous proposer la meilleure alternative possible en vous permettant d’accéder au monument par vos propres moyens. Concernant les audioguides, ceux-ci sont gérés directement par le monument et proposés selon disponibilité et langues offertes sur place. Nous comprenons que l’absence d’une option en français ait pu impacter votre visite, bien que cela échappe malheureusement à notre contrôle. Spectacular site worth seeing. Easy walk from train. Good food in the town. Not sure I would recommend this tour for this
