Great adventure. Mustafa was an excellent guide. He knew a lot of Slovenian history and facts. He was a great driver and the roads are quite narrow, so when a big bus comes towards the van, rest assured that he’ll be navigating past with the utmost care and precision. Postojna Jama is a sight to see, the size of the limestone formations is incredible. A truly breathtaking experience. Predjama castle, built into the side of the cliff is magnificent. The castle has alot of history and there is plenty of stuff on display there. Medieval architecture at its finest. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and very happy we had an early visit to the Cave because it’s peak tourist time and the cave and castle were getting busier by the minute. More time would’ve been better at the castle because there was a lot to see but otherwise all in all it was a truly positive experience.
I thoroughly enjoyed the trip to the Postojna Cave. It’s something I’d highly recommend. The formations and scale of the cave is quite spectacular. Our guide Mustafa was very pleasant. We didn’t enter the castle. Just viewed it from outside. We only purchased the tickets to enter the cave. I think Tripadvisor and the Tour Operator need to make it abundantly clear that you need to pay extra for the entrance to each site. When I booked, it stated that the entrance to the cave was included in the price. This was not the case.
Small train ride and walk through Postojna Cave, about 90 minutes, very beautiful and interesting! View and entry into Predjama Castle built into a cave, very cool!
Have warm clothes for inside the cave Cave was beautiful Castle was great We had si much fun Driver was on time and friendly and helpful Recommend this tour to anyone
First we got on a electric tourist train inside the Cave and then a guided walking tour inside the cave. Amazing place. Castle was fan too... great audio guide. Kind of Castle integrated with the Cave, very cool.
