バウスカ城は、バウスカの町の領土にある2つの川のムーサ川とメメル川の間にある風景の土地にあります。バウスカ城の複合施設は、15世紀半ばに建てられた古いリヴォニア騎士団城と、16世紀末に建設されたより新しいクールランド公爵の住居の2つの部分で構成されています。大北戦中、ロシア軍によってバウスカ城アンサンブルが爆破されました。今日、クールランド公爵の住居は完全に修復され、城博物館がありますが、リヴォニア騎士団の席からは遺跡のみが残っています。
リトアニアとラトビアの国境からわずか15 kmに位置するランデール宮殿は、18世紀にクールランド公爵の夏の住居としてエルンストヨハンフォンビロンによって建てられました。宮殿は、サンクトペテルブルクの冬宮殿の作者であるイタリアの建築家フランチェスコ・バルトロメオ・ラストレッリによって設計されました。 時間と政治的ラッシュの間に、宮殿は多くの所有者と目的を変えました。病院、小学校、または穀物貯蔵施設としても使用されました。今日、大規模かつ成功した改修プロセスの後、ランデールパレスミュージアムアンドガーデンは多くの観光客を魅了し、「ラトビアのベルサイユ」と呼ばれるに値します。

Great way to see a castle, a palace, the Hill of Crosses, and the countryside en route from Riga to Vilnius!
Travel between Riga and Vilnius (one way) and visit three excellent places en route including the emotive Hill of Crosses which is otherwise not easy to get to. The journey is smooth sailing and well paced. Highly recommended!
For those who don’t want to drive when traveling, it’s a nice way to travel from Riga to Vilnius. Save sometime and can also visit a few wonderful sites.
Long day but the stops were good. The guide was knowledgeable and the stops were a good length. Would recommend.

Did the trip from Riga to Vilnius. Didn't expect too much from the outset since there aren't too many reviews but turns out to be an excellent trip: the van is very comfy and the driver/guide was marvellous. He drives very well and steadily... also catering to our needs
Well organized excursion, friendly and prepared driver, interesting places. Experience definitely to do in moving between the two capitals.
Alex was a great driver and very knowledgeable. He kept it fast paced and interesting. It was a long day, but he remained energetic and positive. The hill of crosses was definitely the highlight. We wish the Australian couple had was more considerate, as they coughed the entire way. They could have worn masks, taken cough suppressants, or just stayed over until they were feeling better. I’m sure we’ll probably come down with whatever crud they were spreading…
