Great Palenque tour! Roiman was very knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the history and culture. We also appreciated that they still provided transportation even though we were outside the normal pickup zone. Highly recommend!

I was looking forward to this experience and in the end it turned out to be more than disappointing. There is absolutely nothing to see. We attended a dance performance that was not up to par. We spent 15 minutes with a pseudo-healer and that is all. Constant solicitations to give money.....Only the meal was delicious. The price is not justified at all.

Guide never showed up for pick up. I was waiting from 8 am till 10:30 am aty hotel like agreed on booking. Lost the chance to go to another tour because I could get any communication via phone or text from tour operator and I was only in Cartagena 2 days. Viator will only do a request for refund and they too could not reach operator. It is an expensive tour to end up getting nothing.

Take the time to partake in this cultural experience. It was touristy (souvenirs' cost & tips) and informative at the same time. The young adults danced their behinds off, like teens can do. The food & sugar cane lemonade (sweet for a gal who enjoys Southern sweet tea) were awesome. Learning how they use herbal medicine to keep sickness away and addrrss it, if need be, was nice. Door to door service was a plus and took a bit more time, but was soooo appreciated especially after a long hot day. We had a delay & I thought they left without me, but they wouldn't do that. We were told the tour company was black owned so that was a plus. Although in Cartagena, my tour group was celebrating Juneteeth & was full of black & brown people. So it was a good vibe.

We had a wonderful time in Palenque. We started out with wonderful, nice and respectful drivers: Jesus and Eduardo and they told us much of their history and the history of Cartagena with palenque. We were greeted with waters and breakfast. Our in Palenque tour guide was Raimon and he was great! Always willing to answer all of our questions and gave us a wonderful tour of his home town. This was a very personable tour and felt very VIP. As a college student this was all very interesting to learn and I would love to visit again! Thank you! The food was the best food I have had in Colombia, and everyone in town was super nice.

Not really a tour. Not much to see. Felt like a money grab. The tour was already expensive enough Lunch was ok but really not much. The children dancing was another shameful money grab. My worst Viator tour.

We did 3 excursions and this was by far the best one we’ve ever experienced. Our tour guide was Moises Abraham. He was the best! His lived experience of the community gave us more reverence for the people of Palenge. It was informative, beautiful, and just what we needed during our trip! 5 stars to Moises Abraham ⭐️

Roiman Hernandez with Fancy Tours was our guide and it was fantastic!! He is a young, local black man who did a great job!!!! The tour was very very informative and we had a great time! It was possibly the best part of our trip to Cartagena💯✊🏾🙏🏾💪🏾

Our tour with Royman was excellent from beginning to end. He arranged for our transport from Cartagena. The communication from both Royman and our driver, Armando, was great. On the tour, Royman was very energetic and had the right personality for us. He lives right there in Palenque and was able to add an extra personal touch to our experience. We're grateful to him for sharing his community with us. Ata ugo bega! P.S. I forgot to mention how delicious lunch was... yummy!!

Amazing trip to Palenque with our guide Roy! It surpassed our expectations and we learned a lot about the fascinating history of Palenque!
