We came to Alex's food and history tour with high expectations because of all the 5 star reviews on TA, and it didn't disappoint! It was the best introduction to our stay in Toulouse that we could have wished for. Alex is a great communicator, responding effectively regarding all my queries before the tour. During the tour we learnt so much interesting information about Toulouse, Alex helped us bond well as a group and he shared his extensive knowledge about local food and wine. The foodie stops themselves were all amazing. My husband's vegetarian diet and a lady's gluten free diet were catered for really well. We left feeling saited and happy. Thoroughly recommend!

Wonderful time with Alejandro on his food and history tour of Toulouse. He is very knowledgeable on the history of Toulouse and I enjoyed the foods he paired with the history lessons.

This was a great tour. My teenager and I joined last minute and even though it was 38C today, Alejandro really made sure we had a fantastic time. The food options were very good and I really enjoyed the history as well. I think this was the perfect mix of food + history in a town this size with a significant past and some scandals to discuss. This was so unique! You can tell Alejandro outs a lot of love and attention into curating the experience. I wish all tours I went on were this well composed and thought out. My 16 year old agrees. Would highly recommend!

This tour was amazing! The knowledge and history was so in depth and interesting. And the food was also amazing. Alex was such a gracious host/guide and very passionate about both the food and the history. I highly recommend this tour if you are in Toulouse!

Not to be missed, really a great experience. We have done a lot of tours on our European trips and this was excellent.

This is my favorite tour in Toulouse. I love learning more history about the places I visit, and the stories were fascinating. I actually did this on my last day here, but I would recommend it as a first day tour so you can get a feel for all of the sites you'll want to go back to and visit more. Also, at the end, he gives a list of local restaurant suggestions to try, so now I'll have to plan another trip so I can try them out!

We booked Alejandro’s tour for the first day that we were in Toulouse. It was a wise decision, given the wonderful introduction that he gave to the city, its history, the food, and everything that there is to enjoy in Toulouse. I would recommend it for anyone coming to the city. Even the best city guide you can purchase won’t buy you delicious empanadas and cheese as you tour the city, tell you the history of the aerospace industry, point out where the patron saint of the city was dragged by a bull, tell you about the role Toulouse has played in the history of religious tolerance, or send you a list of the best coffee shops, restaurants, and other places to enjoy. A wonderful tour by someone who clearly knows and loves the city.

The whole experience was very enjoyable and engaging for our family - parents and two adult children. The level of information and knowledge was outstanding and very well presented as an overview of Toulouse and its history. We thoroughly enjoyed the food tasting as we went along the tour - all the choices were interesting and enjoyable - just right. An experience well worth it

This tour was excellent from start to finish! I thought the stops and the different food items were really well chosen, and Alejandro is a brilliant narrator. The stories that he told about the city gave us such a nice understanding of Toulouse, its history and its food. I'm so glad we chose this for our first day in Toulouse, and would strongly recommend the tour to other travellers.
