Terrible! Don't book with them for the love of everything! Took FOREVER to ever see a bus come by, meanwhile, the other hop on/off companies had 3 busses a piece go by. The 2 drivers we encountered were very nice, so I will give them that. It was so disappointing to watch all the other hop tour busses going by while we sat waiting so long. We ended up getting off after like 30 minutes becasue we didn't even see any of the main attractions, except to say we could see them maybe thru the trees. So disappointed. We paid for 48 hours and didn't even get on the 2nd day.

Booked with operator in the street. Showed him the price online and he matched it. Never knew Payment for online had already went through so was charged twice!! Said to the street vendor and he said we would get a refund no problem! Emailed customer services and still no reply! Dropped at the same spot where we started low and behold no vendor there! Praying on the tourists and trying to rip people off. Just like all the big cities! Cespit of rogues! Earphones on the bus not working, litter all over the floor. do yourself a favour stay away and dont book!

Excellent customer service. Everyone we came in contact with was so kind and helpful. Can’t not fault them.

AWFUL AWFUL !!! I cant say how terrible this experience was, NEVER EVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. Overcrowded, under staffed, extremely RUDE AND UNHELFUL driver. He was screaming at his passengers who tried to go upstairs...perhaps an intercom might help with communication rather than screaming !!! We got on the bus at Covent Garden and got off after about 4 stops never to return. We were stuck in traffic, downstairs, in an over crowded, over priced bus, with a deranged driver screaming at his passengers. Also, the audio system is useless for anyone with hearing aids as my wife has. I could go on and on....but JUST DONT USE THIS COMPANY

Simply a scam. We thought that all hop-on hop-off tour providers were the same. Before the trip, we had already agreed that we wanted to book a tour with some provider, and the seller from TopView was the first one we encountered. Booked briefly, the next bus was supposed to arrive in 10 to 20 minutes. We waited for an hour! In the meantime, there was a thunderstorm. The bus arrived and stopped 100 meters from where the seller told us the stop would be. The bus then simply drove past us. The seller was nowhere to be found. We immediately contacted customer service to request a refund of the purchase price. Only received an automatic response email. Since then, nothing more. We did not use the ticket for a ride and unfortunately only realized afterward that the provider has a bad reputation.

So disappointed. Travelled with my partner and his mum and dad to England for the first time and they wanted to see the sights of London. My partners dad cannot walk very far so we thought the 24 hour hop on hop off bus would be the perfect choice! We bought the ticket that included the cruise and recieved the email and then downloaded the app. We bought the ticket on Mondsy at 3pm but we were not intending to activate the ticket until Tuesday. On the tickets it said they were valid until 3am on the Wednesday morning and we thought surely that must be a mistake as we had not yet activated the tickets. On the Tuesday we activated the tickets on the river cruise at 12pm, the cruise was one hour late but the cruise itself was an enjoyable experience with great staff! We then joined the bus tour at 16.30pm and went on a small part of the park and palace route and again had no issues at this point. The headphones worked fine and the staff were helpful. It was however the next day that the problems occurred. We paid £30 per person for the tickets and the members of staff confirmed that the tickets are valid for 24 hour's from activation. This therefore means if they were activated at 12pm on Tuesday they should of then been able to be used until 12pm on Wednesday. This was not the case. The app was very hard to use and gave no live schedules for the busses. According to the app the first bus departing from Kings Cross was at 10.11 however when we arrived I was informed the first bus left at 8.33. I had planned the whole morning based on the incorrect information on the app. When we went to use the tickets at 10.11 the tickets were no longer avaliable, "they had already been downloaded" apparently and were nowhere to be found. One of the members of the sales team tried to help us and we were able to board one bus thanks to him and the kind bus driver however when we tried to board the bus to do the red route (before 11am) the driver was not as kind and we were unable to board. We had also waited for the bus for nearly an hour with 3 big bus tour buses passing the bus stop before a single top view bus came. There was noone around to help us and I contacted customer services by mail as I could not find a telephone number but I received no reply. I am so disappointed as this was a once in a lifetime experience for my partners family and it was the perfect way for them to see London and it ruined the whole experience as they did not get to see any of the things that we had planned for them to see. I would not recommend this company if you are wanting to sightsee around London.

I booked a deal on Groupon for 24 hour hop on hop off with river cruise, 2 adults and 1 child. I had got a great deal and managed to download the vouchers into the app ok. The tickets were there for the 2 bus routes and I had to book on the walking tour and wait for the cruise tickets to validate, all fine. I did email asking for some more info about times (we were arriving late morning so wanted to know if the bus tickets actually lasted for 24 hours or just the day of activation, never got a reply so still don't know). I then read the reviews and my heart sank, I panicked a bit and did a bit more research to plan out our day. On the morning of travel to London, the two adult cruise tickets activated in the app but the child one didn't. I planned on asking once we found a rep. We got off at Euston station and headed to bus stop N at Tavistock Square, as stated in the little pop up on the map (named Russell square on the app and the photo showed bus stop J). Whilst we were walking up the road around 11am, one of the buses passed us so I knew we would have to wait for the next one. We got to the bus stop N. There were no reps but there were ads for Topview on the bus stop, so I figured we were in the right place. We waited for 40 minutes and were just going to head to the tube (we had times to stick to to enable us to get the other bus, walking tour and boat) when a bus turned up, but it wasn't stopping at our stop!!! I had to literally wave like a mad woman to get the drivers attention and he gestured for us to move to the next bus stop, so we had to run fast to get there!!! The reps were there and it was bus stop J!! I quickly said about bus stop N on the app and the rep said 'yeah it's confusing isn't it' so that needs changing! I tried to quickly mention the boat ticket but the same rep said I would be better asking someone else?? Luckily the bus driver heard and he told me there was a manager sat at the back. My two kids headed upstairs whilst I went to sort this out. He (Nour) was very helpful and spent the whole bus journey trying to sort it. In the end, he had to arrange for a rep to print it out for us, although the message hadn't got to the reps from the office so he had to phone, luckily I got his name so he could check! The ticket he printed had the wrong QR code on it (it was for the bus) but luckily the text mentioned the boat. I did have to explain multiple times about the issue throughout the day. The first journey (blue route) took longer around London than expected so we had to get off at Marble Arch rather than a few stops before, and change straight away to the Red Route bus. We were booked on the Jack the Ripper walking tour at 3pm and I wasn't confident we were going to make it in time so we jumped off at St Paul's cathedral and took the tube to Tower Hill. The walking tour started on time and fully recommended for an alternative view of the City of London! We then headed to the boat, the times on the advertised timetable were messed up a bit but we got on the 5.15 one to Westminster, it was a lovely cruise! Despite the issues with the bus stop, the initial wait and the child cruise ticket, I was impressed with the way things were handled and the availability of the buses. We saw multiple throughout the day and even into the evening when we had finished our tour, the website advertised the last ones as being quite early but this can't be true based on the time we saw them! The app and website could definitely be improved though.

Shocking company. No response to numerous emails sent re changing of the date of our tickets. No telephone number which works. Reviews are terrible and I can see why. Avoid at all cost. A lot of money to spend on a company which does not value it customers.

Bad quality bus, long waiting, crowded bus- other companys seem to be better

My daughter and I visited London on 11th February and had pre purchased tickets for the red line sightseeing hop in, hop off bus. We disembarked the bus at Westminster to view the attractions in the area and returned to the same bus stop shortly afterwards, to resume our tour. We were told by the TopView representative that the bus would be 12 minutes. Over 40 minutes later we had to run the far side of a large building to catch a connecting bus as none was coming our route. After making this hurried dash, we discovered that the bus we were on was returning us to a route we had seen already. We had to get off in Temple area just to get a tube to Victoria to view Buckingham Palace. At this stage, it was 4pm. We eventually made our way back to Victoria to catch a TopView bus to see the rest of our sights. The next bus that came along told us it was the end of the route for him and that he could not honestly tell us how long we would have to wait until the next bus, but it would be at least 30 minutes. It was 4.25pm at this stage. It’s London and I was a female with my 13 year old daughter left stranded by not just one but two of Top View buses. I was not satisfied with their service at all. I contacted them on two different occasions since to complain and to ensure this doesn’t happen to other vulnerable customers. To date i have heard nothing back from them. Avoid this company if you want an enjoyable, well run and safe bus tour.
