Booked this company for a transfer from Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv, to a hotel in Jerusalem, for August 5th, 2025. The company's policy is that the pick-up will wait for 1.5 hours after the plane lands. Even on a normal day, 1.5 hours is a short allowance for an arriving international flight, taxing to gate, deplaning from a jumbo jet, walking to customs/immigration, waiting in line for security checks, picking up luggage, etc. But on this day, immigration and security were a total mess. It took 2 hours for us to get out of the airport, and even though we kept in contact with the driver, he left for another pick-up. No refund from from TLV, no refund from Viator/Trip Advisor. Totally frustrating experience after a very long flight and an expensive one. We were not familiar with our options to get to Jerusalem, but we easily found the train to Jerusalem. It was a quick, easy, inexpensive way to get there and we highly recommend it. Do not waste your money on TLV.
Dear SusieM2837, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry your arrival experience at Ben Gurion Airport was so stressful. We would like to clarify our waiting policy. Our complimentary airport waiting time is 1.5 hours, and it starts from the actual landing time. If the flight itself is delayed, the driver still waits because the clock begins only after the flight has landed. 1,5 hours is one of the longest waiting allowances in the industry for Tel Aviv airport transfers, and many other providers include only 1 hour. Most passengers exit the terminal within about 50 to 60 minutes after landing. We understand that on some days immigration, security, and baggage can take longer, and we sympathize. In this case, the driver actually waited beyond the policy window, for nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes in total. However, waiting time cannot be unlimited, and remaining longer would have impacted other confirmed pickups. Thank you again for your feedback. We wish you safe travels.
The driver was on time for the pick up. He provided me with specific and clear instructions for the meeting point. His driving skills were excellent.

My flight was delayed, immigration was delayed all out of my control and the driver kept threatening he was going to leave us stranded there. That's very stressful. I couldn't get done what I needed thinking the driver was going to leave and he almost did. He was sending me a cancel text when I ran to him. I was so tired traveling 26hrs just to sweat 😓 panicked he was leaving i almost cried

We arrived in Tel Aviv after a long flight. I receive a whats app text along with a call to confirm pickup instructions. We got our bags, followed those instructions and got in the van to be whisked off the Jerusalem. So simple!

TLV transfers was definitely the right choice. My flights to Tel Aviv were cancelled and I was rebooked on different flights the following day that were delayed leaving the US by almost 6 hours. I emailed the TLV office and they adjusted to my new travel schedule with no problem. I did have some issues finding my ride on arrival in Israel which occurred during the Sabbath. I was under the mistaken impression that there would be a car marked TLV transfers or that the driver would be holding a sign with my name, when in fact TLV arranges rides in regular taxis. I could not get my phone to work in Israel - totally my fault. While I was trying to figure out what to do I got the first of several emails from my wife saying that TLV had called my house in the US to say the driver was looking for me. Once I found him, he showed me my confirmation on his phone and we were off. To be clear, the issues I had at pick up were my fault and TLV did a great job at getting things sorted. The return pickup, which occurred in the early morning hours of the Sabbath a week later, went exactly as planned with plenty of communication. I would most definitely book with TLV again on future trips to Israel.

The driver gave us a call as soon as we landed and waited for us. He was very nice and offered to stop and get water for drink.

If I could give this a -100 I would. The driver left us at the airport well before the wait period time assigned we received no support or refund. We booked a pick up for 3:30pm with an additional wait period of up to 80 minutes given any delays during security or customs. Our driver left at 4:22pm and we spoke with both Viator and driver - no alternative, no refund and no support. Avoid avoid avoid
Dear Jade_W, As you know , one of your party has been taken to investigation by the border control upon arrival in Israel. As you also recall our driver waited over 2 hours, beyond the 1,5 hours standard waiting time. He even missed his next service ( we had to to outsource the service he could not make, paying another company). This is just to ensure you receive your hotel transfer . However after 2 hours, the passenger was still not released by the immigration authorities . There was no information if and when this passenger will be released. From our experience , these unfortunate situations can sometimes take many more hours. Finally we had no choice but to release the driver. Unfortunately for an airport to hotel transfer service, after 2 hours waiting , no driver can wait an unlimited and unknown amount of additional time. With Kind Regards
