時計塔はオスマン トルコ人によってイスラム様式で建設され、1 時間ごとにベニスの鐘が鳴るようになっていました。 Ismail Tufina は、1822 年に時計塔の最初の時計職人でした。1916 年、第一次世界大戦中に時計が破損しました。新しいメカニズムを配置するのに1928年までかかりました。新しいメカニズムは、ドイツで 13,300 ゴールデン フランの価格で購入されました。これは、市内の最も裕福な家族とティラナ市によって資金提供されました。時計職人のアリフ・トゥフィーナと彼の息子たちは、新しい機構を取り付けました。メカニズムが実際の塔よりも大きいため、彼らは塔に 5 メートル余分に建設し、新しい屋根を建設した [6]。
建設は 1791 年または 1794 年に Molla Bey によって開始され、1819 年または 1821 年に彼の息子で Sulejman Pasha の孫である Haxhi Ethem Bey によって完成しました。 建設当時は、ティラナの歴史的中心部を構成する複雑な建物の一部でした。モスクの前には古いバザールがあり、東には 1614 年に建てられ、第二次世界大戦中に破壊されたスレイマン パシャ モスク、北西にはカラピチ モスクがありました。

1988 年 10 月 14 日に、構造物は Enver Hoxha 博物館としてオープンしました。もともとは、3 年前に亡くなった共産主義アルバニアの長年の指導者である Enver Hoxha の遺産に関する博物館として機能していました。この構造は、ホッジャの娘プランヴェラ ホッジャ (建築家) と夫のクレメント コラネチ (Klement Kolaneci) がピロ ヴァソ (Pirro Vaso) とウラジミール ブレグ (Vladimir Bregu) と共に共同設計した [1]。 建設されたとき、ピラミッドはアルバニアでこれまで建設された中で最も高価な個々の建造物であると言われていました.[2][3] ピラミッドは皮肉を込めて「Enver Hoxha Mausoleum」と呼ばれることもあるが、これは意図された用途や公式の呼称ではなかった[4]。
クルヤ博物館または国立博物館「ジョージ・カストリオット・スカンデルベグ」（アルバニア語：Muzeu Kombëtar「Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu」）としても知られるスカンデルベグ博物館は、クルヤにあり、アルバニアで最も重要で訪問された博物館の1つです。博物館は 70 年代の終わりに建てられ、1982 年 11 月 1 日に発足しました。その建築は、建築家ピロ ヴァソとプランベラ ホッジャによって設計されました。建設工事は、Robert Kote が管理するローカル チームによって実現されました。博物館は、伝統的なアルバニアの石造りの塔と中世のロマネスク様式の建築に触発された記念碑の特徴を持っています。博物館の名前は、アルバニアの国民的英雄ジェルジ・カストリオティ・スケンデルベジにちなんで付けられました。博物館のあるクルイェ城は、歴史的な城塞です。オスマン軍は 1450 年、1466 年、1467 年に 3 回攻撃しましたが、制圧できませんでした。ジョージ・カストリオティ・スカンデルベグがオスマン帝国の侵略からアルバニアを守るのを助けたのは、この難攻不落の要塞でした。

Was anAmazing tour. Our guides were amazing. Really recommend.. Such nice human beings both of them.
We had a relaxing full day trip to both Kruje and Tirana. It was nice to have direct access to sites with helpful information from knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides.
Very nice tour with one of the historically most significant places in Albania, Kruja, which is also beautiful, and capital city. Special thanks to the excellent guide, Ilir, with whom the tour was even more interesting & efficient.
Kruja was the special recommendation of Local Friends Albania, the agency that attended us during the 3 days stay in Tirana. We were impressed by this old small village with a special place in the history and the hearts of the albanians. Skerdi took us to see the bazaar with the wonderful display of local artistry and was very professional during our visit to Skanderber Museum,so we could understand the struggles and sacrifices that were to consolidate a country. The Museum in itself is of top category,very well designed and cared for,with vast information. Highly recommended.
What an incredible tour we had ! The guide was very knowledgeable and we organised . We enjoyed every single minutes and could learn about Kruja, Albania in depth. He answered all our questions in detail . We highly recommended this tour and this guide to everyone who will come to Albania for sure .

Ilir was a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable and always readily answered any questions I had about Albania and the surrounding countries.
We were met at our hotel by Iliri who turned out to not only have an encyclopedic knowledge of the area, but he was a really nice guy, and pleasant to be with. In Kruje, he took us to Skanderbeg castle and gave us the details of the Albanian history of the mid-1400's that was attached to the ruins, and the very nice museum there. Then on a walking tour of the Tirana city square and main boulevard along which there are interesting sights such as Skanderbeg's statue, the parliament building, and large churches of the three religious groups: Greek Orthodox, Roman Catholic (Mother Theresa's church), and the new Mosque. Would highly recommend this tour.
