An unforgettable experience! My tour of Colombo was absolutely fantastic. My guide took me not only to all the well-known sights, but also to hidden gems and local places that I would never have discovered on my own. He was incredibly generous with his time and even went well beyond the hours we had originally agreed on, making sure I could really experience the city properly. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to discover Colombo in depth, beyond the usual tourist spots. Thank you so much for making my time in Colombo such a memorable experience! !

A super fun experience where you learn a lot about Colombo and get to see a lot. Kusal and Akash told us everything about their city and showed us things, especially things that aren't in every guidebook. 100% recommendation!!

We had the best time on the Tuk Tuk safari with our guide, Donald Duck! He guided us around Colombo for hours, exploring temples, markets and monuments. We stopped to sample coffee, spices, fruits, smoothies and some Sri Lankan specialties: delicious Kotthu, Hopper, Sambal & Ginger tea. He was an excellent driver, spoke good English and provided cold bottled water and beers! Thanks Donald and Pradeep.

Very disappointed. Did not turn up as booked on TripAdvisor. When contacted apologised claiming that they had not received my booking. Offered to send someone in another 30 minutes but this did not suit.

Our last night we stayed near Colombo airport. My wife and I decided to go to Colombo for another night. From the car on the way to the city, I booked a private tour of about an hour and a half with Pradeep at the last minute. He picked us up at One Galle Face Mall and, despite the limited time, showed us the main highlights of Colombo. During the tour he talked a lot about the history, culture and daily life in the city, which made the experience even more interesting. We thought the price of 15,000 LKR was absolutely worth it. In such a short time we have been able to see a surprising amount of Colombo and get a good impression of the city. We can therefore warmly recommend Pradeep to anyone who wants to discover Colombo in a fun and efficient way.

Phenomenal tuk tuk tour. It was exciting and exhilarating and we felt so safe. We visited temples, spice market and government buildings and were provided with good local knowledge. We saw so much in three hours in such a fun way and were greeted with King Coconut juice and flowers. The guides were so friendly and made the trip a great experience. Thank you

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! We had a ball. A great way to see Colombo and learn more about its history and people. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English so we could ask a lot of questions and be interactive. I would highly recommend this tour.

I booked a tour for me and my wife with tuktuksafarisrilanka.com on Sunday 1st March. We were looking forward to it as it was due to be our last day in Sri Lanka but distressingly our flights home had been cancelled in the early hours the same morning due to the Iran crisis. We went ahead with the tour anyway but it was a disaster. The guide was agitated and on the phone the entire time and left us to our own devices in Gangaramaya Temple and wandered off. He then thrust his phone into my hand when my wife was in tears and asked me to talk to his manager who wanted an extra $49 for an already extremely expensive tour. I disputed this and the manager put the phone down on me. The guide said he would get him back on the phone but when we went out to search for him realised he had abandoned us in the middle of Colombo and miles from our hotel. I have subsequently requested a refund for the abandoned tour on a number of occasions that evening and every day since. The ‘manager’ responded immediately after with “Have a great shopping tour with $10 dollars.” and subsequently “If you need your money back, be a nice person, be polite and ask me nicely. Then I will think about” To date we have had no refund despite us having no guiding and just an 11 minute unpleasant and dangerous ride on a Tuk Tuk with the driver constantly on the phone, distracted and swerving all over the place. Up to this point we’d had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka and everybody we’ve met has been friendly and welcoming so we were shocked with this experience. We’ve travelled all over the world and this is one of the most unpleasant and unethical experiences we’ve had anywhere.
