TC'S FISHING ADVENTURES! 2 - 1時間のフィッシングツアー

My husband and I came down to San Diego for our honeymoon and decided to try fishing, and we had such an amazing experience! Our guide, TC, was fantastic and so much fun to be around. He helped us with all of our bait, taught us plenty of fishing tips and tricks, and was incredibly patient while we were figuring everything out. We fished for about two hours and ended up catching 7 fish! 🎣 TC was positive and encouraging the entire time and taught us about the different species and sea creatures we came across. One of the things we appreciated most was that he made sure to capture plenty of pictures and videos throughout the experience, so we could simply enjoy ourselves and still have all those memories afterward. Overall, we had an amazing time. TC made the experience fun, easy, and memorable for both of us. It was such a great activity to do during our honeymoon, and we would absolutely recommend TC to anyone looking to go fishing in San Diego!

A pathetic Bait and Switch operation with unqualified, unprofessional “instructor” kid. I booked this weekend the two-hour session from their official website. The morning I was to attend, I got a text from the owner “TC” stating another person would meet me at the tackle shop. The other person resulted to be an unqualified 18-year old kid, very charismatic and funny, but who failed to provide a good experience or any knowledge transfer. He clearly does not have teaching experience and came underprepared, more so than people who go fishing at the pier. Failures: 1. everyone at the pier carried either a bucket or icebox for caught fish. our instructor had none and this was a problem because, 2. the only fish caught during the two hour session happened early on, about 10 minutes into the demo (all I can call this “experinece” is a demo). We stated we wanted to gut it, clean it, take it home. the “instructor” say he would show us, but proceeded to throw the fish on the pier floor and leave it there saying “it will be allright”. he continued his explanations and two minutes later the fish was gone, taken by seagulls. 3. when I asked if he can show me how to tie a hook to a line, he indicated he failed to bring any rope to teach us, but I should just “google it and watch some fishing videos on youtube”. 4. he failed to provide basic information, like the rod part names and purposes, until prodded. he glazed over things he might know as second hand, but the three participants (who all stated has no previous experience) don’t know and would benefit from learning. I wasted $150 in a learning session where we spent more time listening to our instructor’s exploits (he bragged about how much fish he catches, bragged about how many unpaid parking tickets he has from the local restaurants, and how they will never come after him, and he shared he doesn’t need to buy food in months thanks to how good a fisherman he is). But we failed to have a positive learning experience. Don’t waste your time or money here. Ask before you go who will be your “instructor” and ask what credentials they have. Beware of last minute switches and the quality of the people’s ability to share and impart knowledge. No doubt charismatic and funny, but those are not the key attributes for any activity guiding people in a new activity. I will next research how to request a refund for this pathetic experience. I am at a loss of words how to describe the “instructors” answers to me where regularly “I can’t show you now because <excuse>, just look it up in youtube”. Worst $150 spent in my life living in San Diego.

TC and his crew were very knowledgeable and friendly. They helped teaches us to fish and very very patient with us. We had an amazing time and now look forward to doing more fishing. Total worth it great relaxing time!!!!

My husband and son had such an amazing time fishing off the pier with TC's fishing adventures. Our guide Chris did an outstanding job! His knowledge and energy really made it a great experience. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another tour the day before we left. Highly recommend! These guys were great!

Had a great time . Even caught a couple fish and a stingray . Our guide was helpful and very informative.

TC was a nice, friendly, energetic, and honest guy. We had scheduled pier fishing for our honeymoon. When we got to the pier TC found that the fishing conditions were not ideal due to a lot of washed up seaweed. He was honest in the fact that we would likely not catch anything if we continued to fish at the pier. He offered to take us right then to another spot that would be cleared up, or we could go the next day. We chose the next day, due to other scheduled plans. The second spot was great. We caught 8 fish, 4 different species, in 2 hours. We fish regularly, but not in the ocean. TC met us on our level and gave us tips, but also let us do more on our own since we had experience. He was knowledgeable about the location, fish, and bird species around. We really appreciated his honesty and the fact he didn’t want to take our money if we weren’t going to have a good time.

My son and I did the 10am fishing today off the pier. While the weather was fine, our fishing was not. We didn’t catch a single fish. I’m a little upset. And yes that’s how fishing goes sometimes, but when you spend a good amount to do it, it’s just aggravating. The guys that worked on the pier were friendly and gave us bait when we needed it, but didn’t really offer to help or give advice. Maybe next time we will do deep sea fishing instead. The pier is probably just out fished every day.

The description made us think the experience was going to entail more than fishing from the pier, and immediately next to the bait shop. Our guide is a great guy - we enjoyed his company and service. Our guide did what he could to help us catch fish which was appreciated. Net / next - excellent service- I would hire our guide again - yet I feel misled on what the 3 of us would get in exchange for the $225.

Chris was a great guide. My son enjoyed learning how to fish off of the pier and had great conversations to pass the time. I would highly recommend this to any level fisherman.

TC is a great guy! He is patient, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. We were not in town for the best fishing weather/season but we had a fun time regardless. He provides poles, bait, tackle, everything...with a winning smile. It was a beautiful day to spend on the pier and we learned a lot for future reference. We heartily recommend TC for a great experience.
