We had a wonderful tour with Magdalena. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Finland and Helsinki and took us to some wonderful spots to taste traditional Finnish food. She was great with our teenagers and even spent extra time with us at the end and gave us tips for the rest of our visit. Definitely try out her tour- it was amazing

As we walked around sampling all of Helsinki's most delicious treats, we learned about Finnish culture and history, notable architects and their work, and far more. We had a great time with Maddalena on our food tour through Helsinki. The tour included tastings of many game meats, fruits, berries and of course fish! We walked to many of the main sites as well as some off the tourist path. Maddalena is incredibly knowledgeable and personable making the tour a wonderful way to start our trip in Helsinki!

We visited the waterfront food market in Helsinki in May 2024, as part of an Insight Vacations 'Northern Capitals' tour. Great venue! We tasted smoked reindeer - pleasant! I returned to have some lunch at a cafe inside - excellent!

Maddelena is an awesome guide! She shared information about the food, daily life, and local history. All of the shops/vendors seem to genuinely enjoy the interaction. Because these tours are private, they are efficient and there is a lot of customization that can be done. I found Maddelena more responsive via email in planning this tour than others I’ve been on in other cities. I highly recommend this tour early in your trip so she can help you book other meals during your stay! Our group of 4 really enjoyed it.

My wife and I had a wonderful time being guided by Maddalena to some of Kallio's hidden corners, enjoying superb food and drink in locations known to the locals. We saw and learned a lot about the area, and also about Helsinki and Finland - both its history and its current affairs. The highlight of our stay in Helsinki was definitely the city tour with Maddalena. She combines the most important Finnish qualities such as hospitality and humour with Italian warm-heartedness and spontaneity. Unfortunately, the three-hour tour with her flew by, but what remains are many great impressions of this beautiful city. She brought us closer to Finnish culture with a lot of passion. We would only book another tour with Maddalena and can highly recommend her to other visitors.

Our group of 8 people just returned from a Baltic Cruise during which one of our favorite activities was a bicycle and food tour in Helsinki with Maddalena from Vino Tours. For everyone in our group, this tour was one of the highlights of our entire vacation. In spite of some intermittent rain showers, Maddalena made our day interesting, memorable and fun! All of the details were carefully arranged in advance to assure a great day. The bicycle ride was approximately 25km and included city highlights along with sights outside of the usual crowded tourist areas. Along the ride, we made several stops to sample traditional foods, as well as a private VIP beer and local cheese tasting/pairing at a really cool microbrewery. This was a fun and unique way to experience Helsinki, while also learning a lot about this wonderful city from an "insider." Maddalena is a fantastic guide. Everything from the communication during the planning stages to the tour itself was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend Maddalena and Vino Tours and I am certain that you will love any specific tour that you chose with this company.
