Betty, our tour guide was fun, efficient and informative. This is a great tour to go on to see a lot in only a few hours. Highly recommend especially if you only have a day or two in Taipei!!

I had a fantastic walking tour of Old Town Tainan with Shona. She was extremely knowledgeable and shared the history of the city in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. We got to see many historic sites and learned about the local culture and traditions that we would have completely missed on our own. The pace of the tour was perfect—never rushed, with plenty of time to take in the sights and ask questions. Shona also spoke excellent English, making everything clear. Her passion for Tainan's history really came through and made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this tour with Shona to anyone visiting Tainan who wants a deeper understanding of the city's rich history and culture.

It was a very hot day and young people in the group tended to walk faster - but everyone was nice and kind- the walk was paced well - starting with a temple, through old Taiwan, an icecream break, then the administrative area, peace sculpture, ending at the memorial across from the national library. Alvin - the guide was knowledgeable and discussed the geography, history and political paths taken by the country- well worth the cost

Shona was our tour guide and she was an amazing tour guide. She explained everything so clearly and her energy was so amazing! We had the most amazing time and we learned so so much it was truly incredible! Shona was so lovely and we had the best time! We learned about so much of the old history and culture!

Excellent way to learn about the history and see places you might want to come back to. I did the Golden Age free walking tour. Our guide Marie was perfect, spoke great English, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and answered all my questions (I had many). I would recommend this tour as a great way to get oriented with Taipei.

American but parents are taiwanese. I thought the tour was terrific, was with SUSIE and ANY. Well paced. Bathroom breaks, quick shopping breaks. Highly recommend

We went on a private historic walking tour with Vicky on our first full day in Taiwan. It was the perfect way to start our trip because we learned so much from this exceptional tour, including the political history of Taiwan and customs in temples. Vicky was informative, well organized (with graphs & other visual aides), and super friendly. She answered all of our questions and even gave us food recommendations. We enjoyed this wonderful tour and highly recommend it.

This tour was such a great way to gain insight into Taipei’s history and culture. Our guides were Yuan and Luke, and they were both so educational and passionate about sharing stories and information with us. We asked so many questions - including our curious questions about politics, and they answered them very openly. The tour lasted 3 hours, there were plenty of breaks away from the sun and lots of interesting stories that were shared (things you wouldn’t know unless you knew a local Taiwanese person). Highly recommend!

We did this tour with Teresa and I-tan. Both were excellent. Well organized, good information, fun stories, well-paced, and with well thought out stops in places with AC as it was a hot day. The tour was about three hours so be ready to be on your feet for a while. Definitely recommended.
