Martina was a lovely tour guide who made our day in Hungary truly special! Not only did she show us the beautiful sights included in the tour, but she also went above and beyond to personalize the experience. She took us to the small towns where my parents grew up, which made the day especially meaningful to me. It is an experience I will always treasure. Martina is an excellent driver and very knowledgeable about the history of the region. The van was comfortable and easy to get in and out of, making the full-day excursion very enjoyable. The places we visited were every bit as beautiful as the photos on the website. We particularly enjoyed the charming little artists' town, with its delightful shops and cafés. I even bought a beautiful orange leather purse at one of the shops, and every time I carry it, I will be reminded of Hungary and the wonderful day we spent there. Throughout the entire day, Martina was warm, attentive, and thoughtful, regularly checking to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Martina as a tour guide, regardless of which tour you choose. Her knowledge, kindness, flexibility, and genuine care for her guests make her exceptional. Highly recommend it, we had a great time and our guide Martina treated us wonderfully well. Everything was perfect, she took care of explaining everything to us and accompanying us on the excursion, and even at the end she took us to Ciudadela to see the sunset, which left us amazed with its views. If we return to Budapest, we will repeat with her.

Excellent day. Levi, our guide, was informative at each location and went out of his way to accommodate us. The trip lasted 8 hours and we were picked up from our hotel. It was a great tour and we would recommend this company without hesitation.

I’m so glad we decided to book this private Danube Bend tour with Martina. I had originally planned to visit Szentendre, Visegrád, and Esztergom using public transportation, but after seeing how spread out everything is, I realized we never would have been able to experience nearly as much on our own—especially since I was traveling with my senior dad. Martina made the entire day incredibly easy for us. She picked us up right at our hotel in her cute white-and-red van, was a very safe driver, and was wonderful about going at our pace. We never felt rushed, and she always made sure we had time for bathroom breaks and could comfortably enjoy each stop. Communication was excellent from the very beginning. I booked only a few days beforehand, and Martina reached out before the tour to ask about our interests and whether there was anything in particular we wanted to see or do. It really felt like a private experience tailored specifically to us rather than a standard itinerary. We learned so much throughout the day—not only about Szentendre, Visegrád, and Esztergom, but also about Hungarian culture and everyday life. Martina also shared stories about her Slovakian heritage, which made our conversations even more interesting and personal. She was also wonderful about helping us take photos along the way. What really made the day special, though, was Martina herself. We got along so well and became so comfortable with each other that by the end of the tour, it honestly felt more like spending the day sightseeing with a friend than being with a tour guide. She was warm, patient, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to spend time with. We enjoyed her company so much that I really hope she comes to visit us in California someday so we can return the favor and show her around! This ended up being one of our favorite experiences of the trip. If you’re thinking about exploring the Danube Bend—especially if you’re traveling with an older family member or simply want a relaxed, personalized experience—I can’t recommend Martina enough. We would book another tour with her in a heartbeat.

We had such a wonderful day with Martina on our private Danube Bend tour! From beginning to end, everything was truly 5 stars. I was traveling with my senior dad, and Martina was kind enough to pick us up directly from our hotel, which made the day so much easier. She was very reliable and communicative. Since I booked the tour only a few days in advance, she reached out beforehand to ask if we had any preferences or specific things we wanted to do so that she could tailor the experience to us. I really appreciated that personal touch. Throughout the day, Martina was incredibly patient and never made us feel rushed. She made sure we had plenty of time at each stop and that we got our bathroom breaks in, which was especially appreciated while traveling with my dad. We learned so much about Szentendre, Visegrád, and Esztergom, but what made the tour especially memorable was getting to learn about Hungarian culture and everyday life from Martina as well. She also helped us take a bunch of photos throughout the day, so we have some wonderful memories from the trip. I also had a very unusual, last-minute request! I collect pressed/smashed pennies and mentioned that I needed certain Hungarian coins for the machines. Martina actually brought all the coins for me! It was such a sweet and thoughtful thing to do and a perfect example of how much she cares about her guests. She picked us up in her cute white-and-red van, which was comfortable, and she was a very safe driver. Having Martina made the entire day so much easier and allowed us to see and experience so much more without exhausting ourselves. I really can’t say enough good things about Martina. She is sweet, patient, knowledgeable, thoughtful, reliable, and genuinely wonderful to spend the day with. I would highly recommend booking this experience with her. You won’t regret it!

My mother and I had a wonderful day with Martina. She was thoughtful, patient, flexible, and went out of her way to make sure we had a really nice day and that it reflected what we wanted to do. She was punctual with clear instructions on meeting, knowledgeable, fun, and inviting. The tour was well paced and we had plenty of time at each stop. She made sure to tailor it around what we wanted to see and do. And Szentendre was beautiful and not crowded AT ALL on a Tuesday, which was lovely! We were even able to drive across into Slovakia for a photo op, which was fun! Well worth it for a relaxing, fun day. We really wanted to see Szentendre and were very glad we went. And going with Martina on a private tour made it an even better experience. Highly recommend! She cares a lot about her clients’ experience and made sure we had a great day!
