Ocean Extreme offered an exciting and well-organised trip for whale-watching. We did see 3 humpbacks but, of course, whales in the wild are not performers. Some of the sightings were brief but still magical. The guides were informative, knowledgeable and friendly. Great fun!

Sean and The Skipper gave us a fantastic tour. We saw a pod of 4 whales 🐳 that were really active. Big effort made by them to ensure we had the best view and Sean kept us informed with his extensive knowledge. Brilliant experience.

The two hour trip was really fun and enjoyable, we booked for the mid morning tour. As luck will have it, we didn't get to see whales doing breaches or rolls, or come close to our boat, but it was still very exciting with a lot of whales around, and also dolphins doing their thing. We were prepared for that, this is our fourth whale watching trip so our expectations were realistic. As far as boat tours go, the departure location directly in Sydney Harbour (Campbells Cove) is stunning, the way the guides look after you and the whole experience, is of very high standard. I would definitely recommend it.

Our experience with Ocean Extreme aboard the Osprey was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the family-operated team made us feel genuinely welcome. The crew created a friendly and relaxed atmosphere while remaining professional, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the journey. The tour was both entertaining and educational, with plenty of interesting information about the local marine environment and wildlife. We were fortunate to see humpback whales, dolphins, and several species of Australian seabirds along the Sydney coastline. Paul, Brad, and Martin brought genuine enthusiasm and warmth to the experience. Their passion for the ocean and its wildlife was obvious, and the trip felt personal and authentic rather than overly commercial. I would highly recommend Ocean Extreme to families, visitors, and anyone looking for a memorable wildlife experience while in the Sydney area.

Unbelievable trip saw so many whales . Mother and baby breaching . Absolutely fantastic! Sean and his mate were wonderful . Can’t recommend it enough !

Fantastic experience, we got to see two whales travelling together. Loads of tail and fin slapping on the surface. Weather at 11am was reasonably calm. Both Paul and Martin were excellent guide/Captain and we learnt lots of information. Great day out!

My partner and I had a phenomenal experience with Ocean Extreme. The online booking process was a breeze and Dion was very helpful with booking queries. We took the Osprey Boat from Circular Quay with Martin and Paul - they were both professional, knowledgeable & very friendly. The boat was small providing an intimate experience without the crowds, but also extremely fast so that you could find and go between whale pods very quickly. They also provided wind-proof jackets. We were extremely lucky to see 6 humpbacks, common dolphins & sea birds. The humpbacks we saw graced us with non-stop breaches - we’ve never seen anything like it! We appreciated receiving photos of the whales we saw. We highly recommend this company and will definitely be returning for more whale watching tours.

Very good experience. Fast boat, that was surprisingly smooth on the water. We were fortunate to see quite a few whales including one large pod of 5-6 that were very active. Had 2 swim right under the boat. Lots of tail slaps.
