Had a great time doing a surf lesson in Tamarindo. My son (18) and I (57) are beginning surfers, and our lesson was with Chalo. Chalo was great - very helpful and clear about how to get started - some instructions on the beach and then we were quickly in the water. Chalo was a huge help in getting us set up to catch waves and both of use were able to stand up and surf. My son had a great time and wanted to go surfing again the next day. Highly recommended (ask for Chalo!) and a great value for your money.
Had a private surf lesson with Mauricio and it was amazing. Tons of great advice, very patient and overall just awesome! Would 100% recommend Iguana Surf!
Very helpful and professional surf lessons in Tamarindo. The guides do a great job of instructing on the basics and then . My guide Mauricio was fantastic and had me surfing in no time.
Rigo is an OUTSTANDING surf instructor! First visit to Tamarindo, and our grandson wanted a surf lesson. We booked a private lesson with Rigo who had our grandson riding waves within minutes. It was the best adventure ever according to our grandson!

My daughter had a private lesson and it was amazing. The instructor was great and she was up and surfing in no time. It was a really cool experience.

Great value and chill instructors. The only problem was the instructor forgot about our reservations and arrived 20mins late. Everything worked out since our son was exhausted 60mins into the 90min lesson.
