Spectacular Sky Box

I loved this balloon ride experience with this agency! Our crew wasted no time and ensured everything went smoothly, our pilot was informative and funny, and to top it all off the view was spectacular! I would recommend this experience to any of my friends!

Book it! You’ll love it!

We appreciate the pilot’s knowledge of the area wildlife as well as the history of ballooning. It would have been even better without the diva “influencers” (wannabes) trying to tell the pilot how to fly. The view of the lake and the mountains was spectacular! We saw wild donkeys roaming about and bunnies too!

Rude pilot, good views

The reason I felt the need to give this experience a poor rating was because of how incredibly rude the pilot was. Beautiful ride. We felt safe. But this man sadly was the biggest stand out of the experience because his negative attitude was so off putting and made all of his passengers uncomfortable. Very unprofessional words and profanities were spoken. I would look somewhere else before booking this place. His crew was helpful and kind. The van was also extremely run down on the inside, and reeked of weed and cigarettes, which our pilot was smoking a cigarette right by the hot air balloon once we landed, which did not seem safe.

Great experience

This was my first time in a hot air balloon. The team did a great job. The pick up was on time. They assembled the balloon fast and we saw the rising Sun at the east. The ride was smooth and enjoyable. The pilot guided us well for the landing process as well even though we land on our sides. It all went smooth!

Good memory

Overall experience is good and it’s our first time. Adventure on getting in and landing. But safe. The crew was good and the guide explained historical things. One thing to improve is to let them know that the fruits and champagne is after landing so that travelers plan any snack with them. Good memory

Be prepared to chase the wind. Flight takes off from where the wind is best at. Mimosas at end of flight. If your tall stand on outer edge of basket to avoid heat from burners.

Racial rides

Definitely rude and unprofessional from the very beginning. My ride had mostly blacks and he was telling us we couldn’t count when it was time to split up into the vans. By time we got up in the air somehow the conversation became heavily about the term crackers and saying the N word. Also about how he’s a redneck and he shoots to kill not injure if anybody tried to come to his house to harass him. Keep in mind this conversation is happening about 5000ft above the ground while your life is in his hands.

Shady Business

directions were confusing and unprofessional. We arrived at the designated meeting area near Starbucks and called the pilot/owner for clarification because the actual meetup spot was apparently on the opposite side of the Walmart parking lot. Multiple groups were confused and experienced the exact same issue. Even after telling the pilot exactly where we were, he still could not clearly explain where to go. We were already in the parking lot at 4:41, so the confusion was entirely due to the unclear directions and poor communication. Other hot air balloon companies were able to launch their balloons that same morning, which made the explanation about the wind conditions even more questionable. As a business owner myself, I hate to leave bad reviews to a business because I understand customers can sometimes be difficult, but this entire experience was unprofessional and a complete waste of time. The pilot also continued waiting for additional guests who arrived later due to the same confusion, which made it obvious the directions were poorly communicated to everyone. The entire operation felt disorganized from start to finish. The crew was smoking while setting up equipment, and the pilot didn’t know one of his crew member’s name. The crew struggled to set up the balloon and ultimately could not get it into the air, blaming the wind conditions. What made the experience even worse was the complete refusal to make things right afterward. They would not offer a refund. The pilot also claimed he was not the owner of the company, despite clearly being the owner/operator. Overall, the entire experience felt dishonest and extremely unprofessional. It honestly seemed like they were more interested in collecting people’s money than actually providing the service. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company

The person leading the hot air balloon was very weird and making uncomfortable comments. Very weird man. But other people working beside him were great.
