We pre booked this excursion a couple of months before we were due to visit it. We were on a cruise with P and O. I had previously booked an early time but had to change it as I wasn't too sure whether the cruise ship would dock on time. They were really good and we booked the later time. On the actual day the ship docked on time and even though we had changed the time we were able to go on earlier one. Which was great. The Rodne cruise was fantastic and very scenic. The walk to the meeting point is only a couple of minutes walk away. The seats downstairs get filled up very quickly as there are other cruise ships that dock too. The journey was fantastic it is worth the money. The weather wasn't great as we had wind and rain but it didn't spoil the fun!

Large comfortable boat, nice guided tour, relavant pre-recorded information, easy to find departure. Was perfect for a family with young children and older grandparents. Only negative was that it was sold as an electric boat and it was not - just a regular, loud, polluting boat. Otherwise would recommend!

We arrived 3/4 of an hour before departure and went to pier 16. Being a person with reduced mobility, the gentleman placed me first near the gangway to wait. It was 1:45 PM. At 2:35 PM, he came to open the access and, while looking at our ticket (4 people) he told us that it was not the right boat. Alas, the other boat (pier 18) had just left. Therefore, I am requesting a refund of €322.00 or a good portion of it because you could indicate the departure pier number on the tickets, which would avoid the confusion of which we are surely not the only victims. I book the Electric Fjord Cruise to Lysefjord & Preikestolen. It was supposed to be on an electric catamaran. The boat was neither electric nor a catamaran, it was a diesel ferry boat. It had three rolls of seats with three seats in each roll. We ended up in the middle roll behind the stairs to the bridge. We had no view on this site seeing tour. This is not what was advertised (electric catamaran) and I feel completely ripped off.

We throughly enjoyed this boat trip. It was local to the cruise port was easy to find boarding station. The trip was a beautiful experience on a warm and clear day.

My family and I took this electric fjord cruise and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The boat itself was extremely comfortable — the seats were so relaxing that several of my family members actually fell asleep during the ride. Food prices onboard were reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise, and we really appreciated that the boat was fully electric and environmentally friendly. It made the whole experience feel modern and responsible without sacrificing comfort. If you’re traveling with elderly family members or anyone who uses a wheelchair or walker, I highly recommend this cruise. Boarding and disembarking were simple, and the staff were very helpful throughout the process. It’s also conveniently located not far from the Royal Caribbean cruise port, which made getting there easy. Overall, we’d absolutely do this again if we have the chance.

Long and mostly boring. Only good if you’ve never been in a fjord before. Interesting sheer rock cliffs at the end, but not worth the trip IMHO.
