It was an exhilarating experience for me and a close friend of mine who had just arrived from outta town. This will definitely be one of my main attractions whenever I have friends come in from other states! Keith.
We didn’t even get on the boat in the end. It was an old boat, there were simply far too many people, and the whole experience felt very crowded and chaotic. The cruise also starts quite far away from the main attractions, so getting there takes extra time and makes the whole experience less convenient.
Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that guests with reservations who arrive on time are always given priority boarding. Unfortunately, you arrived late and did not board the cruise, so the comments regarding the onboard experience do not reflect the actual tour. We would also like to clarify that the vessel is not an old boat. Our Statue of Liberty Sightseeing Cruise offers a memorable way to experience New York Harbor, with spectacular views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline and excellent photo opportunities from the water. We recommend arriving early for check-in and boarding so you can relax and enjoy the complete sightseeing experience from start to finish.
came 1 hour late and almost half hour took to clean, so waste so much time and in this hot weather with 7 years old kid was not fun.

We do ask all guests to arrive on time for their scheduled departure, as this helps us maintain an organized boarding process and keep cruises running as close to schedule as possible. Our crew also takes the necessary time to clean and prepare the vessel between sailings so guests can enjoy a clean and comfortable experience. The Statue of Liberty Sightseeing Cruise offers beautiful views of New York Harbor, the Manhattan skyline, and incredible close-up photo opportunities of the Statue of Liberty. We recommend arriving at the designated check-in time so you can enjoy the entire experience without feeling rushed.
The boat was an hour late which was frustrating, but the experience was cool. The families were also a bit rude and pushy because so many people were on the boat. I think it should be a little more limited so it isnt so chaotic.
Too hot no air on boat, got sick and ride was really really rocky and not relaxing. No one was telling us about the ride or sites but floated on water
No words to describe the awful experience! Waited almost 45 minutes with 90 degree weather with just one tent for shades. The way you get in and out of the boat was so funny it took people almost 45 minutes! Some of them were so scared to use the “emergency shoot” they stayed and took another ride lol! They try to charge you double at the spot saying online purchase is not valid for until the following day. Not true! Buy your ticket online. The staff were pretty nice! That’s the only positive! The AC inside doesn’t work properly so I don’t recommend this ride in supper humid conditions.
I didn't arrive on time, they changed my departure 3 times, they changed my departure point, and the people who work there are very disrespectful. Go on another tour with someone better qualified!!
My family and I had intended on taking this cruise August 4, 2026 for our 1 day stay in New York we were very disappointed to find that the ferry not only left earlier than the agreed time on the ticket 1700 but they did not intend on giving us a refund given that they had terminated the agreement. When I called to explain that out family had been at the pier early to board the boat but had missed it because the boat had to leave early I was repeatedly interrogated, hung up on, and dismissed when I asked for a refund. This reflects very poorly on the service andirons the future I can not see myself working with this company. Please beware.
If I could give zero stars, I would. First they changed our pickup location, then they were 45 min late to start, no guided narration, $40 for two drinks! I wish I could have these 90 minutes back and my money too.
it appears that the purchase was a bogus boat ride. We got to the pier did exactly as we were supposed to do and went back-and-forth with various vendors who said not me not me not me, and ultimately no one would take our reservation. We ultimately had to pay out-of-pocket to take another evening ride because nobody would help us. Once making the purchase we received several phone calls from a number from Costa Rica insisting we call them back. I will be disputing this with my credit card as soon as we get back from New York City. Absolutely terrible experience.
