This was an exceptional cooking class. My husband and I try to take a cooking class on most of our trips and this is one of the best we have taken. The food we prepared was delicious, the chefs were informative, fun and very well organized. We all got to participate in the preparation of the meal and we enjoyed getting to meet other people on their travels!! We loved the visit to the market to buy the veggies and fish we would be preparing!! You can’t go wrong taking this class! You’ll be a highlight of your trip to Croatia

Amazing experience and even more than we had hoped for! We got a tour of the fish and green markets and learned so much. We loved getting to do hands on cooking. There was plenty of time for enjoying the food and wine and company as well. The chefs were excellent teachers and very fun. Thank you!!

Željko and Petr were awesome! From a leisurely walk around the green market to get our veggies and then the fish market to get our fresh fish, we stopped along the way where they shared all sorts of cultural insights, including their own personal experiences having grown up in the Split area. The cooking instruction was awesome, the food even better. The entire team was interested in more than a cooking class. They are truly passionate about what they do and want to share the Croation culture with visitors. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful! The 2 Chefs that we went to the market with were very knowledgeable. The group was very friendly and hands on. The meal we all cooked was divine! Great activity! Highly recommend!

This was an amazing experience!! I would highly recommend this if you are visiting Split. The class was so unique and informative and really let you step into the culture! The food was amazing and our instructor was great!

This was one of the highlights from our time in Split. Our chef, Petar, was incredible! He met us near the farmer’s market to buy fresh produce for our meals and shared the history and rules of the market. We then stopped at the fish market-a building we had passed many times but never knew what it is until this experience. Back at the academy, we learned how to check that fish is fresh as well as how to clean them. While we cooked, we tasted four different liqueors-walnut, carob, lemon, and elderberry-all delicious! The food we prepared was delicious-baked dorado, sardines, sea bass carpaccio, calamari risotto, grilled veggies, homemade bread, chard and potatoes, salad, and rozata cake. We left with full bellies and new cooking skills to use when we return home.

This was FANTASTIC! We loved the visit to the local produce and fish markets to start the tour and learning the history of the city along the walk to the cooking school. We also learned how to clean fish and test that it’s fresh. Our lead chef was wonderful (our class ended up being private), teaching us how to cook sardines, dorado, carpacchio, risotto with calamari, homemade bread, and rozata cake. I highly recommend if you are a foodie and want an authentic Dalmatian experience!

This was such an excellent experience. The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable, explained everything very well and was fun to be with in the kitchen. I learned how to clean a fish, something that has always intimidated me, and he made it so easy. Our meal was delicious, we made so much food I won’t need to eat again today!
