This tour takes you outside the usual "old town" tourist area and really shows you so much more of this large city. And the company is fantastic. This tour was easily one of the most interesting tours I did in Georgia. And the guide Zezva was brilliant. I saw sites I would never have seen on my own, armed with insights which further enhanced my understanding of this chapter in the country's history. Nothing was too much for Zezva -- he even included a couple of additional places when I mentioned I had read about them. And he did all this with warmth and a genuine desire to share his city with us. Thank you, Zezva. ❤️

If you are looking for a genenuinely interesting warts and all tour, which gives an insight into soviet georgian architecture history and culture you would not get from a normal tou, then I would recommend this. Temo our guide was brilliant. We loved it, especially the surprise at the end.
