Hike was very beautiful, tour wasn’t too long or too short, stop at the Shepards farm area was delicious! I would recommend this hike to anyone, great history included as well!
We loved the experience. Tony is an excellent guide.
Antonino was a particularly wonderful guide. He was not only a great driver (to get us to the starting point and back) but also so knowledgeable about history, plants, and the topography. He paced the entire group so well-knowing when some needed a break and when to push a bit farther. He found the shade each time too. He would then explain what we were viewing and put it into context of history. He was great! The whole path was easily then anticipated if you are in reasonable shape. It is one of the best ways to see the Amalfi Coast as well as the area to get there. I’m not usually someone who enjoys a group on a hike but I can say that this was just perfect. I would encourage those to use a guide as we feel we got so much more out of the hike! He was a 10/10 for sure. The stop for food and drink was absolutely terrific. We thought we were just getting a snack but it was delicious and quite filling. Tomatoes, zucchini, breads, and wine. Amazing. Also, the stop for frozen juice was also wonderful. Make sure you try the orange! So good. Remember to bring cash as both are ‘free will offerings’. The settings were worth it alone but the food was so very good! Getting to the starting town of Bomerano alone is tricky so the cost of the tour is worth the transportation alone. The trip is fantastic and I would wholeheartedly recommend it. Bring some water and a small backpack. Although we were able to get both at the start of the hike (backpack 12 Euros) because we didn’t bring one with us. Do not hesitate to use Sorrento Hiking made they were awesome.
This is a family owned business! Not corporate!! They care and delivered an amazing experience from beginning to end!!

Amazing experience! Tony was an outstanding guide and truly made the hike unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating history and local insights about both the trail and the Amalfi Coast throughout the journey. We learned so much and never felt rushed—he made sure we got the full experience and took the time to answer all of our questions. His passion for the area really showed and made the tour even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Toni was the best guide!! One of my favorite parts of our trip!!!
Great hike with amazing views! Tony our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly who kept the tour moving and interesting. The sheppard’s shed was a perfect break in an out of the world spot! Highly recommended!
Nino was knowledgeable, funny, and kind. He made sure to wait for the stragglers in the back and answered all questions with patience. Even though the hike can be done on your own, Nino’s ability to bring the history of the region to life made a huge difference in the overall experience. I loved how he picked fresh herbs along the way and shared the regional food knowledge as well. The stop at the Shepard’s inn was just icing in the cake. Make sure to eat the honey!
Great mix of magnificent scenery, local info and tasty experiences!!! Wonderful guide!!!
