Phenomenal canal tour with our Captain, Manus. My husband and I did the one hour tour (although I think it ended up slightly longer due to us and the rest of the group chatting through the duration😆). It was a lovely small group (12 total), everyone was really friendly, the Captain was super informative and shared interesting facts and incites on the city, good energy throughout and an all around great experience. We would highly recommend Hey Captain if you’re looking to do a canal cruise in Copenhagen, a much nicer experience than some of the larger boats you might see on the water.
It was the nicest ride I've ever been on. Everyone in the company was overly satisfied with the captain who fits his stories so well into our conversations. The tour itself was very well adapted and there was always something to look at and talk about. 5 stars from here
OMGosh, what a delightful experience!! We didn't know what to expect and found the small group of 10 boat tour so endearing. During the 3-hour adventure, we enjoyed meeting the other guests and learning about them and where they came from. Our guide Judy was absolutely amazing and really made the trip entertaining and engaging. We HIGHLY recommend it!
Lovely tour, excellent tour guide, nice small group (12) interactions and good company. Would recommend.
This 3 hr canal tour was just amazing. Our captain had a wonderful personality and made all 6 of us on board feel welcome. It was a wonderful way to see and learn about the city.
That you're supposed to share your lives with others. The fortress was interesting. It was a long tour.
We were lucky we were on a boat with only 6-it was like a private sail. They sell drinks-nice touch and you get off at the fort to explore . Our captain Jacob was funny and informative
We took the 3-hour tour on a windy July day, so the first hour was rough -- blustery, choppy, spitting rain -- but after that first hour it was very pleasant. Our captain Zach is a young guy but very friendly and interesting. We didn't anticipate what the "social sailing" element meant, but it was fine -- the 10 passengers just introduced themselves and shared something about their lives. An interestng way to see Copenhagen.
Excellent guided tour with great conversation on board and all the comforts you could ask for. There was even the option to enjoy lemonade, beer, or a glass of wine while taking in the views. I learned a lot about the city’s history and architecture, and I also had the chance to meet some new people. Captain Oscar did an excellent job and made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
My friend and I were both visiting Copenhagen for just a short time, and taking the 3-hour "Captain's Favorite" tour turned out to be the absolute best decision we made. The tour was incredibly complete: we covered everything from Christianshavn all the way out to Refshaleøen, Trekroner Fort, Nordhavn, and the main harbour landmarks. Our guide Oscar was very nice! He shared so many great fun facts throughout the ride and was always super approachable whenever we had questions (and we definitely asked a lot of them!). If you are short on time in Copenhagen or just want a relaxed, comprehensive tour of the city's waterways, I highly recommend Hey Captain :)
