We heard about Divinguru through our travel agency "Sri Tours" and drove there directly on our way to Nilaveli. We asked for advice on what Divinguru offers and what would be suitable for us. Although it was busy, the staff took a lot of time and effort to advise us well. We decided on whale watching and the tour to Pigeon Island. We received all the necessary information regarding the tour procedures. The team members were very helpful, competent, and friendly. We felt well looked after and comfortable from the very beginning. In addition to the regular tours, we made further individual arrangements with the various members of the team, e.g., that we were picked up from the hotel to simply spend a beautiful day at the beach at Divinguru. All arrangements worked perfectly, and we were more than satisfied. All staff members we came into contact with were very dedicated and eager to implement all our ideas. We had a fantastic time with and at Divinguru. If you’re heading to Divinguru, do yourself a massive favor and ask for Rabu. We honestly can’t recommend him enough! In total transparency : my mom was incredibly anxious about snorkeling and diving. She really didn’t want to go and felt totally unfit for it, but Rabu completely turned her day around! By the end of it, she said it was the best day of the entire trip! For us, Rabu is quite literally the "guru" of Divinguru! He managed her anxiety with such patience, expertise, and a genuinely responsible leadership attitude that she went from terrified to totally relaxed. Because she was calm, the rest of us could actually enjoy ourselves, too. He anticipated every single one of our needs and hit that perfect sweet spot of being fun and friendly while staying completely in control of the situation. We felt like we were in the safest hands possible the entire time. His attention to detail was top-tier: - Safety & Gear: He handled all the equipment logistics to the boat flawlessly. - Boat Management: He took massive care with the weight distribution on the boat, especially looking out for my mom. He helped her get in and out of the water safely and made sure she was always stable. - In-Water Guidance: He actually held my mom’s hand while we were diving with the sharks! She told us afterward that because of him, the sharks were "no big deal" and she felt 100% secure the whole time. - Captain Skills: He’s a pro at driving the boat, keeping the ride fun, but always respected the waves to keep us safe. The rest of the team handled the admin side of things, but Rabu for us was the one who makes the magic happen on the ground and in the water. The guy made our day unforgettable and honestly, we’re already talking about coming back to Sri Lanka to go to Pigeon Island with him again. If you’re nervous or just want an expert who genuinely cares about your experience, look no further. Rabu is the best!

This was absolutely worth it. The staff 20/10. So friendly and helpful. The tours amazing. Also if you book 48 hours in advance you get a 10% discount. Bonus and on top of that 10% discount coupons at there restaurant and the if you pay cash another 3%. This is just to unreal. The boat driver are friendly and the snorkel guides showed us amazing things.
