リスボンから向かう9時間のグループツアーで、シントラとカスカイスを探索しましょう。8名限定、英語のみで催行されるツアーとなります。魅力的なシントラの村を訪れます。ここでは、トラヴェセイロ（ポルトガル語で「枕」の意味）やシントラチーズケーキ（ケイジャーダ）といった、名物の絶品ペストリーを味わうチャンスがあります。その後、ヨーロッパ大陸の最西端にあるロカ岬を訪れます。かつて人々はこの場所を地の果てと考えていました。息をのむような感動の景色が広がっています。カスカイスへの道中では圧巻のオーシャンビューを楽しめます。続いては、散策、昼食、軽食などが楽しめる美しい海沿いの街、カスカイスに立ち寄ります。最後の目的地は、旧王室の宮殿であるペーナ宮殿です。ユニークで驚きが詰まった、おとぎ話に出てくるようなスポットです。

シントラは、数千年前に創設された、主に歩行者が住む古代の村です。 ギリシア人はシントラを「月の山」と呼び、現在でもおとぎ話の村に似ている。 1995年からユネスコの世界遺産に指定されている。 滞在中は、1862年から続く歴史あるベーカリーの有名なトラヴェセイロス（枕）を試す自由時間があります。 軽くパフ状にしたこれらのペイストリーは、7回ほど複雑に回したり、巻いたり、折り曲げたりした後、アーモンドと卵黄のおいしいクリームを詰め、砂糖を軽くまぶします。 シントラチーズケーキも楽しめます。
1862年から続く同族の老舗ベーカリーを訪れ、軽くパフ状にしたペストリーを7回巻いて折った名物のトラヴェセイロスを堪能。 アーモンドと卵黄をクリーミーに混ぜ、砂糖を軽くまぶした楽しいペストリーです。 あるいは、13世紀にまで遡る歴史的な文献があるシントラチーズケーキを試すこともできます。 当時、このチーズケーキは家賃の支払い手段としてよく利用されていた。
有名なワインセラーで知られるコーラレスは、大西洋へ向かう途中にあります。 この魅力的な村には、13世紀に遡るワインの豊かな歴史があります。 その風景は時が経つにつれて凍りついているように見え、古い別荘や美しい邸宅、大小の農場が混在する風景、そして一世紀前の路面電車が映し出されている。
大西洋から150メートル（500フィート）の高さにそびえる断崖が特徴のワイルドなロケーション、カボ・ダ・ロカに立ち寄ります。 ここは大陸ヨーロッパの最西端である。 この地域は、大西洋の轟音とともに息をのむような景色が広がる、人里離れた素晴らしい景観を提供しています。
カボ ダ ロカ灯台は、ポルトガルで最も有名な灯台の 1 つです。中に入ることはできませんが、18世紀の美しい建物を外から楽しむことができます。

カスカイスはかつて漁村であり、19世紀後半から20世紀初頭にかけてポルトガル王室のリゾート地として人気を博した。 今日では、ポルトガル語人観光客と海外からの観光客の両方に人気の休暇先となっています。 村には小さな美術館、絵のように美しい庭園、美しいマリーナ、歩行者天国の旧市街があります。 ランチや軽食で立ち寄り、ポルトガルで最も有名なアイスクリーム、サンティーニのゼラティを試してみるのがおすすめです！
19世紀のロマン主義を世界に知らしめた鍵となる、注目すべきペナ宮殿を訪れます。 現在の宮殿は、1839年にフェルディナンド2世がペナの聖母修道院の廃墟を購入し、彼のロマンチックな嗜好を反映した邸宅への改築を始めたときに創設された。 ペナパレス公園へのアクセスがあり、中庭のガイド付きツアーを楽しめます。 その選択肢を選ぶと、インテリアルームも探索できるようになります。

The small group is good and the air-conditioned van, as it was a hot day. Our guide Kate was very informative and we learned alot about the Portuguese language and culture as well as the history of the areas we visited .Had a nice lunch in Cascais.
An excellent day out. Well communicated throughout. Pickup point was central and easy to find. Comfortable mini bus (air con and plenty of room). Mar, our guide was very good. Very knowledgeable and impeccable English meant we got a lot more information than I was expecting. The trip includes a guided walk of Sintra, free time in Cascais and Mar's guided visit to Pena Palace. Lots of history and snippets of information. Pena is fascinating, a bit mad and well worth doing as a guided tour. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a fantastic day trip with Lisbon Riders to Sintra and Cascais! The itinerary was beautiful, with a great mix of stunning scenery, historic sites and charming places to discover. A special mention to our guide, Mar, who was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely attentive, Mar made sure that everyone felt included and comfortable throughout the whole day. She created a great atmosphere within the group and was always happy to answer questions and share interesting insights. The organisation was excellent, the day was very enjoyable, and Mar really made the experience special. Highly recommended if you want to discover Sintra and Cascais with a friendly and engaging guide!
The day trip was amazing and the views were unreal! Ricardo was our tour guide and he was fantastic! He told us lots of facts, history, jokes and overall made it a great bonding experience with a small group tour. The day flew by but came back with 1000’s of photos and memories to last a lifetime. Very memorable event made possible by Ricardo, our host. The sites are stunning as the pictures can attest. But be prepared for the crowds especially if you visit in peak season. What made this tour stand out (our 9th of this trip) was our host Ricardo. He was incredibly gracious and extremely accommodating for our family of 7. Energetic, knowledgeable, witty and genuine he was the perfect host and a wonderful ambassador. I truly hope we have the opportunity to host him in our country at some point as we consider him part of our “family”. Muito obrigado Ricardo!
