The tour operator's value-added services included: (1) paying the entrance fees at the official ticket offices using their credit card; (2) connecting participants with independent site guides; and (3) providing vehicle transportation around the sites. The site guides at Sigiriya Rock and Dambulla Cave Temple were excellent and greatly enhanced the experience. However, be prepared to tip them, as they work directly for the participants rather than the tour operator. Tips of around US$20 for the Sigiriya guide and US$10 for the Dambulla guide are customary and appear to constitute a significant part of their income. I am unable to give this experience a full score because the tour started 90 minutes later than scheduled.

This was a great trip. Just right for the kids (5 and 8). The climb up lions rock was really good, the guide helped with the kids. It wasn't busy when we went so it was perfect. We included the village tour also, which was excellent. The home cooked food was amazing. Our guide was brilliant, really great with the kids. I would highly recommend this trip.

Good driver who drove us safely in his Tuk-tuk. He drew our attention to animals by the road, including a wild elephant, walking along the road. We got a knowledgeable and friendly guide, who accompanied us up to Lion Rock. Very cool rock. At Dambulla Cave Temple, our driver was waiting at the tuk-tuken, where we left our backpacks. And we were well taken care of by a knowledgeable guide at the temple. Overall, a very interesting and rewarding day. Thank you Sinhagiri Tours for a very good day.

Janaka was an excellent driver and guide. I customised the schedule for my plans and Janaka was very flexible. He was also a highly informative guide at the Dambulla Cave Temple which is an incredible historic place

Great tour! Was flexible on starting time to avoid the downpour on the day. Safe and efficient travel to visit the sites, both with guides. The driver was friendly and shared details on local customs.

Wonderful experience - guide Malita was perfect. Took us to the Dambulla Caves and Sigiriya Rock and pointed things out and/or stopped on the way there and back.

The overall tour is pretty good. You have a driver (usually tuk tuk) throughout the tour. With him you go to the sites (Lion Rock, Dmabulla, Golden Temple, Village tour). There he takes care of taking out the tickets and paying the official guide of Roca Leon and Dambulla who accompanies you and performs the explanations. The total touristic tour is the Villa tour. It is only worth the food with the people, because it is very good and a lot. But the cart and the lake seem to me even in bad taste. Of course, the two guides and the women of the village who cook expect tips always, despite the 200€ worth of the tour.
