Booked a Laos train ticket through this company and was given a confirmed 10am departure. At 2am on the day of travel, I received a WhatsApp message saying the train was “not available” and that I had been moved to a completely different time (9 hours later) with almost no notice. When I went to the station to ask about alternatives, I was informed that there was never even a train scheduled at that time, meaning the original service I booked did not exist. The communication was extremely last-minute, and they did not take any accountability or even say sorry when I raised the issue. I would not recommend this company for travel. Book directly with the train company instead, or if you do use a third party, double-check train times carefully—“confirmed” bookings may not exist as advertised.
Slated as door to door, confirmed twice on that point, and the driver did seem to drop the locals off at their doors, but then dropped the foreigners off as a group not at our respective hotels & hostels, just pulled out bags out the bus & drove off. Organiser did offer to come pick me and take me the rest of the way (which is the only reason this isn’t a lower scored review) but really should just have been actually door to door. Aside from that the drive was awful, took a very rural route where the road was actually being continually being built through a quarry, we sat stationary for an hour for this at one point then had to get out and walk through the dirt and dust up the hill because the bus couldn’t drive over the road with the passengers in the bus, and then the driver was driving quite recklessly round the curves and over the holes in the road after this point (presumably to try and make up some time)
Bus is comfy. Air conditioned. Roads to get to Luang Prabang are not fun though. Be prepared to not get sleep while on bus.
tip very hard to get confirmation of pick up time and location and was then cancelled hours before departure

We are regret that due to your visit to laos at that time still have very few traveller so that we did not have eother customer to share the minivan with you. We wrote to you for an appology of being inconvenience to cancel your booking with above explaination. We knew this is abit inconvenience so we try by our best to inform you at the soonest for you to find the alternative sollussion such as train or bus .. Mini van arrived in time to pick us. Several stops for toilet. Long and bumpy road, happy to arrive.
