Booked a miniature donkey walk on the spur of the moment and really glad we did. Julia was so knowledgeable and friendly, but most of all you can just tell how passionate she is about her donkeys. The interaction with the donkeys (‘Maverick” and “Goose”) was thorough and involving throughout, and Julia lets you be very hands on with them both, starting with a simple groom, some basic, but important, instructions before the gentle walk down the valley. Yes, a petting zoo may be cheaper, but you get a real sense that these donkeys are living their best life with Julia looking after them, so to our family, this was far more important and enjoyable. Thanks for everything Maverick and Goose (and Julia) , a great few hours

We had the best day ever with Julia and the donkeys at Good Day Out. We spent the morning in lovely company learning to paint the donkeys then enjoyed donkeys agility in the afternoon which was great fun. The donkeys are absolutely gorgeous and funny and we can't wait to visit again.

We arrived a little early, there were 4 of us, Julia was there it greet us. She took us to meet Goose and Maverick who were delightful. We spent the time petting and grooming them. Julia remained with us answering questions we had and was very knowledgeable about donkeys. We even got to meet her horse Shamrock which we petted too. When it was time to leave Julia asked if we wanted to put the donkeys to bed which we jumped at the chance. We led them from the field up to their barn and put them in their pen. Julia then asked if anyone wanted to bring in Shamrock, my granddaughter was keen to do this. Julia took photos and videos of us which she sent via WhatsApp we received 19 photos and 2 videos. We had a fabulous day, and would highly recommend the experience. Dinky Donkeys make you happy x

Absolutely lovely day. The walk was peaceful, with a lovely picnic included. Afterwards, the agility training began. Learnt a lot. Would highly recommend! Would love to come again! :) Titania & Beth xx

Beautiful location! The dinky donkeys are even cuter than I expected! Don’t want to give too much away but the walk is lovely and the picnic pit stop is perfect. Julia was amazing - really knowledgable and a great host. Really recommend this for anyone who loves donkeys!

Our foraging walk to the Dinky Donks was the highlight of our trip to Wales! We were a large group from age 9 to age 67 and everyone of us had a wonderful time. Our guides were kind and knowledgable, the location was absolutely enchanting and the donkies were delightful characters. We loved our experience and would recommend it to everyone. Thank you!

We spent a fantastic afternoon with Goose and Maverick. These two dinky donkeys were adorable and lots of fun to walk. Our host Julia put us at ease and was very knowledgeable. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back.

This was for a birthday surprise and it couldn't have been more perfect. The little donkeys, Maverick and Goose were adorable and Julia was a welcoming host for our trip into the countryside, where we all chatted and got to know the donkeys. We stopped along the way for our picnic and a drink and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Julia also took lots of photos of us and shared them with us later which we really appreciated. Highly recommended and thank you Julia, for accommodating our unforeseen lateness! Best wishes and big ear scratches for Maverick and Goose for being so well behaved.
