The tour guide is great, accommodating & very knowledgeable. He gave me a wealth if information about the tour sites and other useful tips. He looks to really enjoy his work. 1. Going to the Faro Colon monument is interesting just to hear details about it, but like visiting most monuments anywhere - you can take it or leave it. It is not the most aesthetic building to look at, either. (FYI - DR likes to believe that there are remains of Columbus at the monument. This is still under debate. DNA tests have confirmed the remains in Spain. The DR government will not allow DNA analysis so... draw your own conclusions!) 2. FYI - there are a lot of steep stairs at 3 Ojos otherwise a FANTASTIC natural phenomenon to see. Am amazed that it is not included among World Natural Wonders. In some places, like taking a peek at Paradise! I won't say more...do the tour and get the info from the guide - wink, wink! 3. The Boca Chica beach is very picturesque & safe for kids...super shallow for serious swimming but just possible in some places. Delicious local food & very authentic local ambience. Not a tourist beach. ( I saw the complaints about vendors etc but seriously...not a big deal. You just say you're not interested; they go away. This is a part of the local culture & going to the beach. I have been to no beach anywhere that there are no vendors. Even at EU beaches! People should just stay at an All-Inclusive & never leave if they cannot deal with this.) I had a very good day & a fabulous time! Totally recommend this tour.

Everything about this trip was amazing! From start to finish, the experience exceeded my expectations. The people in the group were friendly and enjoyable to be around, and the staff did an outstanding job making sure everything ran smoothly. The pickup process was organized, convenient, and stress-free, which set a positive tone for the day. The trip itself was absolutely worth the money, offering a great experience and excellent value. One of the highlights was the lunch. It was delicious, plentiful, and far more than I expected. The quality and quantity of the food were impressive and added even more value to the overall experience. I highly recommend this trip to anyone considering it. Great people, excellent staff, delicious food, and a memorable experience from beginning to end! I would definitely do it again.

Our tour guide Dominic/ Domingo let my husband and I get scammed by scammers who forcibly try to sell you things at the local beach Boca Chica. Didn’t appreciate that. Then had the nerves to say to my husband was drunk and claiming that to be the reason why we got scammed.

Can’t recommend enough! Urbano tours was a lovely experience and very affordable! Our guide was named Domingo & he took us around to 3 different stops on our tour in an AIR CONDITIONED van. There were <8 people which was great for a personalized experience. His English was phenomenal and he made sure to make everyone feel comfortable. Tell him hello next time!

We had such a great tour with Domingo! Would definitely recommend this tour if you want to know about the Dominican history but also chill at the beach.

Our guide, Domingo, picked us up at the hotel on time. He shared stories about history and interesting facts about the Lighthouse to Columbus. Later, he took us to the Three Eyes Park and offered us a fascinating educational tour of the place. Finally, we went to Boca Chica beach, where we could experience the daily Dominican life on a beautiful beach, enjoying a traditional lunch. I highly recommend both the agency and our guide, Domingo; we feel completely at home.

I had a wonderful day visiting the highlights of Santo Domingo! Our guide Domingo was amazing: so knowlegeable, fluent in English, and such a genuinely nice person. These three landmarks are so different but so important to the history and culture of the Dominican Republic. I was glad to learn more about the historical significance of the Faro de Colon. Los Tres Ojos was amazing and beautiful! What a find in the middle of the city! Mobility advisory: the steps there are uneven natural stone, and while there are many railings, not all sections have them. Domingo was great about accommodating what I could and couldn't do there, and I still feel like I got to see most of it. The fish fry at Boca Chica Beach was amazingly delicious, thank you Mercedes! Such a lively, family-oriented beach. Great experience overall, would book again!

It was a pleasant trip, a mixture of history, great views, the beach and a delicious lunch. The tour guide was enthusiastic and helpful and enjoyed his work.
