Nice tour, the tour guide was nice and attentive. The group we had was nice. Your guide took time to answer questions and had a positive attitude.
Our driver Victor was punctual and a very good driver. Our guide Hector was an incredible guide and so knowledgeable. We booked a private tour and we were picked up at the lobby. The drive to Santo Domingo was a bit over two hours. Van was air conditioned and comfortable. We stopped about halfway there for a restroom and snack break. The park was beautiful but there are a lot of steps down and then back up from the limestone caves. It is also very humid so be prepared. Our guide gave us a tour of some other stuff you don’t normally get along with what is advertised. The lunch was so good and everyone at the restaurant was so nice! All the history was incredible and lots of photo ops. Be ready in case it rains as it poured for about an hour when we were there. On a side note that has nothing to do with the tour. Our driver made a stop at a gift shop close to our resort. It was supposed to a spot where you can get souvenirs. Everyone in the store was nice but a bit pushy when it comes to buying stuff. None of the items have prices on them. When we went to pay, the total was going to be $600 USD for a handful of souvenirs. Never in my life or in any other country have I paid so much for souvenirs. We just left everything and left. Just an FYI.
Had a really lovely trip, with José as my guide. He was really informative and made sure everyone was looked after. The highlight was definitely Parque Nacional Los Tres Ojos!

I enjoyed this tour and the tour guide Pablo, was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, one of the museums was closed on the day that I went but it was wonderful to learn about the history of Santo Domingo!
An excellent experience and treatment
It was a really nice experience. Pablo was awesome and it was nice that we were in a small group. We meet some very nice people some from our home town Chicago and New York as well as PA and Italy! We left on time and arrived back at the hotel as expected. There were no surprise unfortunate events! Thank you Xcape. Also our driver was great!
Fantastic excursion, brilliant guide, and great local vibes! We had a fantastic day trip from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo! There was a slight mix-up/delay with our pickup morning of the tour, but the team handled it professionally and even treated us to a complimentary Dominican beer tasting to make up for it—which was a really nice, appreciated touch! The driver and tour guide were absolutely amazing throughout the entire day. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us informed with fascinating history and details at every stop, and our driver made the long ride comfortable and smooth. No negative issues at all—everything ran seamlessly once we got going. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the rich history and culture of Santo Domingo!
