Highly recommend this tour with Salva and Manuel! Lovely experience - went early enough to beat the crowds. Hotel pickup quick and easy!
Really great experience with Tunco Life, our guide Salvo was super friendly and really knowledgeable. He shared a lot about not just the area, wildlife and volcano, but also about the history of El Salvador and really added a lot to the hike itself. The Santa Ana volcano is stunning and well worth the trip from El Zonte. Highly recommend. The lunch spot was gorgeous too, amazing view!

Really fun hike. Great tour guide. Super nice and knowledgeable. Smooth pickup and dropoff from my hotel (barcelo also excellent). Highly recommend. Moderate difficulty. If youre really out of shape this hike isnt for you. Otherwise. . Do it. Highlight of my el salvador trip.

It’s intense but worth the view! Our tour guide Chamba was great. Take water and something to snack on. Take breaks, wear comfy shoes, take lots of pictures and a walking stick.

I had an amazing trip with Chamba from Tunco Life!! I highly recommend his trips! He was very nice, accommodating, and a great + safe driver. The early start to the hike was perfect to beat the crowds, and the volcano was beautiful! We also enjoyed a beautiful lunch at The Crater afterwards with views of lake Coatepeque. This was such a fun and memorable hike! Chamba is an awesome tour guide. He explained a lot about the volcano, led us safely through the hike in a timely manner, and made sure everyone in the group felt included and comfortable. Chamba brought cool vibes with his energetic personality and great taste in music (which makes a long drive more enjoyable!).
