トルココーヒーの伝統的な淹れ方は、最高品質のコーヒー豆を厳選して挽くことから始まり、完璧な細かさを確保するという細心の注意を払ったプロセスを経て行われます。しかし、この体験を本当に特別なものにしているのは、砂の上でコーヒーを淹れる方法です。カッパドキアでは、「ジェズベ」と呼ばれる特別に設計された砂で熱した銅鍋に水、コーヒー、砂糖を入れ、熱した砂の上に置きます。この方法により、穏やかで制御された熱の分散が可能になり、コーヒーの風味と香りが高まります。鍋を温かい砂の中に入れておくと、徐々に望ましい温度に達し、濃厚で風味豊かなコーヒーが出来上がります。 カッパドキアを訪れる人にとって、このユニークな体験を楽しむことは、トルコをこのように楽しく多様な目的地にしている習慣、伝統、味に浸る特別な機会です。
