The island is beautiful, depending on the time you go, you can see a variety of birds However, before traveling to the Spanish, check the route and the walk, as we went to Ceballos with an agency we only walk five minutes Snorkel more than walk in areas that weren't as varied All that was due to the inexperienced guide or the company that organizes it Even if you hire online, you are charged as 20% more expensive, therefore intermediary Check that the hike is at least an hour to enter the island, and that the guide is experienced the next day. We went on another tour with another company with a guide Alejandro and it was wonderful

We spent 2 weeks in the Galapagos Islands in August of 2025. When looking for tours we found GalapagosBKTours had all of the tours we wanted to do. After several texts back and forth, Eduardo had 8 tours booked for the 2 of us. It wasn't until the first our that we discovered that this company does not actually give the tours, he books you on them with other companies, and takes a cut of the money. We also discovered that others who had booked directly with the tour provider paid less money than we did. The first tour went well. We had to cancel our second tour due to illness, and we were told there was a three day cancellation policy. This is not on their website that I could find. My wife asked to cancel the rest of her tours, but Eduardo did not. My wife missed the next couple of tours due to illness, I went alone. A few days later she was feeling well enough to go, and Eduardo had placed us on the wrong tour, one that is not even on their website. It was to the correct island (Floreana), but not what we had paid to see. This tour was all snorkeling, with 30 minutes of beach time. We had wanted the land based tour on his website, seeing the pirate caves, spring, local restaurant, etc. We did not realize this until we had already left and were on the boat. He refused a refund, and instead spent $20 to take us to a tortoise sanctuary the following day, allowing us to tag along with someone he was already taking there. My wife fell ill again, missing another tour, this time we were past the three day cancelation policy that we were told about. No refund. When I got on the bus for that tour, there were no extra seats, the bus was full. Her spot had been sold, and we could not get a refund. For the final tour, she was again well enough to go. We got to the meeting point, and the guide told us that she had been cancelled, and because we booked through a third party (GlapagosBKTours), he could not do anything about it. I elected not to go alone, since my wife was well enough to do something I would rather spend the day with her. I was fine with forfeiting my payment for that day. We contacted Eduardo, and this time he promised a refund for this tour only, but it would take three business days. It has now been 2 weeks since we have been home, and no word from Eduardo or GalapagosBKTours. He will not reply to any messages from my wifes phone (our only point of contact during the trip). I tried messaging him from my phone, and I was blocked. When we booked originally, since we wanted so many tours, Eduardo gave us a deal. Anywhere from $5 to $30 off per tour. He could not reflect these discounts on his website, so he requested payment up front through Payphone. We sent him a total of $3200US. He owes us a total of $560, more if you ignore the cancellation policy that is not on his website. Do not use this company, if anything goes wrong, you will not receive any refund, and you will be blocked and ignored.

Espanola Island Tour Booked a day tour with GalapagosBK for Espanola Tour. We booked in advance sometime in January for the day trip in April. When we arrived in San Cristobal, I reached out to GalapagosBK numerous times to confirm our day tour to Espanola Island. GalapagosBK would not reply to back to us, so we had our hotel call to speak on our behalf. GalapagosBK tour advised that would look into this and get back to us. The night before the tour GalapagosBK emailed us telling us the tour had to be cancelled. We did get refunded our money, but it took a few days and several followups asking for the refund. Do not book with company, very unprofessional, no communication and most likely will cancel very last minute. Super disappointed as we really wanted to do this tour, and because they waited last minute to cancel we were unable to book with a different vendor as they were already booked up

We chose San Cristobal as our destination because of the wildlife....And we were not disappointed! Sea lions, iguanas, sea birds and giant tortoises. They all call this island their home. Inhabitants are very friendly; There are plenty of places to eat and shop for souvenirs. The trails are really well maintained and there are lifeguards on all the beaches.
