ナチスの首都に最も近い強制収容所で、他のすべての収容所の原型となったザクセンハウゼン記念館を訪れます。 このツアーでは、囚人の日常生活と生存のための闘争を、選ばれた伝記に基づいて紹介します。 囚人たちは、共産主義者、ユダヤ人、ナチスが敵と見なした他の誰でもいた。 40カ国から20万人の受刑者が ここにいたと想像してくだい ツアーの正式な開始時刻の5分後発の列車に乗ります。 電車に乗り遅れないためには、15分以上早く到着することが不可欠です。 ガイド付きツアーは時間通りに開始され、遅刻には対応できません。 ガイド付き訪問当日、ザクセンハウゼン強制収容所記念碑から要請された必須の寄付として、参加者全員が集合場所で現金3ユーロを支払う必要があります。 全額、当館に寄付させていただきます。 飲食物の持参をお勧めします。

旧ザクセンハウゼン強制収容所の見学は、記念碑の入り口から始まり、ナチス・ドイツ体制における模範収容所としての役割を学ぶ。 囚人の現実と対照的な、かつてのSS将校カジノへと続く。 正門であるA塔を通して、収容所のレイアウトがいかに総統制を徹底していたかがわかる。 点呼広場では、毎日の点呼を罰する長い 兵舎38と39ではユダヤ人囚人の迫害について学ぶ。 かつての収容所の台所は現在博物館となっており、強制労働や日常生活に関する資料や証言が展示されている。 ガス室と火葬場の跡地であるステーションZの廃墟で、収容所の駆除場所としての機能に立ち向かう。 医学実験と虐待が行われた医務室と病理検査室でツアーは終了。

Very touching experience. Our guide, Lorenzo, is a very well-prepared and very sensitive person.
Andrea was exceptional in his explanations. He provides many indications about the place and history during the tour and makes the tour very exciting even for "non-experts." The only room for improvement is the logistics. The 24-hour ticket to reach the place (to be paid separately, for zone C) costs about 12.50 euros, so organizing a bus from Berlin should be considered to make travel to and from Sachsenhausen faster for large groups, as happens in August. Furthermore, the use of radios with earpieces could perfect the experience.

Apprezziamo anche i suggerimenti sulla logistica, che ci permettono di chiarire alcuni aspetti dell’organizzazione del tour. La scelta di raggiungere Sachsenhausen con i mezzi pubblici è precisa: come partner ufficiali di visitBerlin, per noi è importante proporre tour sostenibili e a basso impatto ambientale, evitando quando possibile l’utilizzo di pullman privati. È inoltre la soluzione nettamente più economica per i partecipanti: nei periodi di maggiore affluenza, quando organizziamo contemporaneamente più gruppi, il costo di un pullman sarebbe almeno tre volte superiore a quello dei mezzi pubblici. Il biglietto ABC, inoltre, è valido 24 ore e può quindi essere utilizzato anche prima e dopo il tour per continuare a spostarsi e scoprire Berlino. Un biglietto dei trasporti sarebbe dunque, nella maggior parte dei casi, comunque necessario una volta rientrati in città. Per quanto riguarda gli auricolari, il Memoriale di Sachsenhausen stabilisce un numero massimo di partecipanti per ogni gruppo proprio per garantire la qualità della visita e il rispetto del luogo. Non è quindi possibile aumentare le dimensioni dei gruppi utilizzando radioguide o auricolari: naturalmente rispettiamo rigorosamente queste disposizioni.
