Remco is a great guide. He has a good car, very clean. Next time, we will definitely opt for Remco.
Thank you so much for this review Mr. Brasil. Despite the weather I had a fantatsic day with your family. Have a good time in Amsterdam Senhor Claudio. Warm regards and have a safe flight back XXX
Over the past 25 years, our family has hired private guides for unique tours and experiences all over the world. The tours have ranged from adventurous, to active, to sports, to historic, to educational, to the arts, etc. The tour that Remco took us on to Giethoorn ranks as one of the best tours our family has ever taken. The beauty of Giethoorn, being with our family and learning about the Netherlands and Giethoorn were great, but what made the tour so special was our guide Remco. I believe Remco is one of those people who has a unique ability to read his clients quickly and adapt his style to provide the best possible tour experience. We enjoy laughing, learning, being casually active while relaxing and enjoying our vacation. We are inquisitive, conversational and direct. From the first time we met, Remco was engaging, informative, had a strong vibe of positive energy and quickly brought smiles to our face. We picked the right guide/tour. He quickly shared the day's agenda with us and we were off. Without going into too many details of the day, the Geithoorn Private Guide Day Tour was an incredible family experience (my sons are 25 & 26 years old). The lifelong memory would never have been created or valued if we took a tour bus and missed the opportunity to meet such a dynamic, smart and dedicated professional. Geithoorn is incredible. Remco our Private Tour Guide made it a life long memory. Thank you, Remco. This is an incredible experience that has created a lifelong memory.
I feel shy now Shawn after reading this. Amazing words from a business man on holiday who left his suit back home. Thanks for choosing me. I definately can add your family as new (no social media!!) friends. Warm regards from Amsterdam XXX
I would absolutely recommend this tour to all my friends and family. It took us about an hour to get to the Giethoorn. We had a few beers at the local bar upon arriving and then we hopped in the boat with our skipper. We cruised around Giethoorn for about an hour and had lunch after. Remco does a great job answering any questions you may have. He also really cares about your experience, he wants it to be perfect. I would highly recommend the coffeeshop tour as well if that type of thing interests you. Thanks, Remco!
We had a great time pal. Never ever gonna forget that moment with that Japanese boat hahahahahaha. GOOD TIMES ! XXX
Remco was prompt and met us at our hotel and a great tour guide. We enjoyed Giethoorn and the added options where he shared some amazing sights and personal details of Netherlands. Private tours are always the best way to go to get a customized tour. Would highly recommend working this tour and the others he offers.
Thank you for the review and hiring me. I hope you had a lovely holiday. All the best Stephanie & Michael. XXX
We booked this private tour in Austria and on time, at the agreed time, Remco and his beautiful car stood in front of the hotel. The ride started and it became a wonderful, pleasant and very interesting day. We drove north to Giethoorn; a beautiful place! With the electric boat Remco showed us the beautiful waterways with their inhabitants. Remco is not only a good driver but also a pleasant conversation partner. When we come back, we will definitely book a trip with Remco.
Vlielen vielen dank für ihnen schöne Bewertung Gabriele. Wir haben ein grossargtige Tag gehabt zusammen. Ich hoffe Sie wieder zu sehen andermal. XXX
Everything was well prepared and very family friendly. The locations that we were taken to were quite interesting and fun, this tour was suitable for children at a young age and the children had fun. The scenery of Giethoorn was wonderful and the tour also gave the children a new experience of drinking fresh milk and seeing the cows in a barn. Some input, as the boat ride is part of the tour, I suggest that the boat fee is already included in the package price. 😉
Thank you for the review Ray. It was my pleasure to have your lovely family with me on tour for a day. About the price for the Giethoorn boattour....it is mentioned obvious in the description here on the platform that the boattour is excluded. The reason why is because this "fixed tour price' is based on platform commission, value added tax 21%, gasoline/car fee and guide/driver hours. The tour is bookable for 1-4 persons (selling price is the same). Kind regards from Amsterdam XXX and please say hello to the kids <3
