The guided tour at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne was a wonderful experience. Our guide Joan was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the gardens, sharing fascinating insights into the plants, history, and unique features of the area. Their enthusiasm made the tour both engaging and enjoyable, and we learned so much about the diverse landscapes and hidden highlights of the gardens. It was a great way to appreciate the beauty and character of the Royal Botanic Gardens from a different perspective. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore and better understand this beautiful part of Melbourne.

We learned a lot from the guide on walking tour. We didn't take the explorer bus, but review link sent us here. Over 90 min, we walked through many areas and learned about Australian botany. The guide was knowledgable, kept a good pace and addressed questions well.
Excellent guided tour - Tour Guide Helen was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and gave us an introduction to the wonderful plants, trees and history of the park. Thoroughly recommend this tour, and all for free!

I chose the free walking tour. My guide was friendly and knowledgable about the gardens. I would recommend her- she was also adaptable to what I wanted to look at.

Mary is a fountain of knowledge and very good at presenting it in a most inspiring manner. Walking through the gardens with her gives you a whole new take on many things, far beyond individual plants. This place is in many ways a microcosm of Australian history, and seeing it all in a new perspective brings so much more meaning to every step you take. Highly recommend booking a tour.
