A great way to see Riga from the water. The tour lasts ~1 hour. The audio guide that plays during the tour is fantastic. The young boat captain and desk attendant were both very nice. I would highly recommend this tour when in Riga!

We booked on booking.com and had a mix up in timings, the owners were great and sorted the matter out for us, rearranging the times of the boat trip and the old town walking tour with Eva. The crew also sorted a taxi to get us from the boat to the walking tour as time was tight. Great service!! The boat trip was lovely, very restful. The old town walking tour was good fun, Eva was very knowledgeable and took us about the old town and its history. A really nice day, fabulous service. Thank you!

Very friendly staff and a good experience

An absolutely wonderful experience and one of the highlights of our time in Riga. The boat tour offered a beautiful and relaxing perspective of the city, allowing us to see Riga from the water while enjoying a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The views along the river were stunning, especially passing historic buildings, green riverbanks, and charming bridges that you simply cannot appreciate in the same way from land. The boat was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the overall organization was excellent. Everything ran smoothly and on time, which made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. The crew was professional, friendly, and welcoming, always happy to help and ensuring that everyone felt comfortable throughout the journey. This tour is a perfect way to slow down, take great photos, and truly absorb the beauty of Riga from a unique angle. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city—whether it’s your first time or a return visit. It is well worth it and offers fantastic value for money.

A great open top boat tour, very much helped by the beautiful weather! The trip was rearranged when someone called me out of the blue, and it was not confirmed by messages or email till the day before. The VIATOR voucher was not available to check. I was very worried we were not booked.

Great boat trip along the canal and onto the river. Lots of sights pointed out and a drink on board.

A unique and relaxing way to see parts of Riga! The tour takes place on a charming old wooden canal boat and lasts almost an hour. On boarding, we were offered a choice of water, soft drink, beer, or sparkling wine, which was a nice touch. The ride itself was leisurely and peaceful—perfect for soaking in the views. Do bring warm clothes if the weather’s cool, as the boat is not fully enclosed. While it would have been even better with some commentary about the sights, it was still excellent value for money. Bonus tip: there’s a great restaurant right beside the boarding jetty for a bite before or after your trip.
