The guide was waiting for us at the port, with a sign with our name on it, as has been our experience with Viator. He was knowledgeable and pleasant, and had a thorough understanding of local history, as he was a teacher. The tour was good, would recommend.

The guide was excellent and knowledge. Great driving and grew up on Rhodes so he knew everything about the place. Do wear sturdy shoes with a good tread for the Lido acropolis. Gave great advice for after tour activities and sightseeing on foot.

What a fantastic experience!! We loved our private guided tour with “Bill” (Vasilis) who provided excellent information, knew the island perfectly, brought us to all the best spots, and even ensured we had a wonderful lunch on the water at Hakana Beach. It was an outstanding day. The car was a beauty, too. While it was hot outside the Mercedes stayed comfortable inside. Not only would we use this company and request Bill again, we hope to stay friends with each other via WhatsApp. The day was a total success. Book your tour here, you will not regret it. Our tour was totally personalized as well with no issues. We checked out the castle/fortress, the ruins, the Springs, Hakana Beach, and then the old town across from the cruise port. In the AM, Bill was waiting for us less than 30 meters from the gangway of the ship.

This was a really neat tour. Our drive and guide, Gianni, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and we enjoyed talking with him all day. Being a private tour, he was able to cater it to our specific interests - a little more local history for my husband, and a stop at a local potter’s studio for me. We were also able to enjoy a delicious lunch right by the sea!

We had a good time with George exploring Rhodes. There were a couple of unfortunate things though. We suggested to him that we should head out to Lindos first and then explore the city afterwards in order to stay ahead of the crowds at the Acropolis, but he decided to go forward as planned. As a result, we ended up getting stuck in traffic a couple of times and by the time we arrived at Lindos, the crowds were already there and it took an hour to get into the site. After visiting the site, George seemed to be rushing to drop us off so he could pick up another party at the airport. He did make an excellent suggestion for lunch at Mama Sofia. Best food we had had up to that point in Greece.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would, however, like to clarify a few points, as we believe there may have been some misunderstanding. A) Our tours are always 100% flexible and customizable. At no point during the tour (or before the tour) was there a request to drive directly to Lindos first. Had this been requested, George would have happily adjusted the itinerary accordingly. B) Regarding the crowds in Lindos, your cruise ship was actually the second ship arriving that morning. A German cruise ship had already docked at 7:30 AM, while your ship arrived at 8:30 AM and the tour began at 9:00 AM. This means that Lindos was already busy before your arrival, even if we had driven there directly. C) Additionally, the weather on the day of your visit was cloudy, which led many tourists staying in hotels across the island to visit popular sightseeing locations such as Lindos instead of spending time at the beach. Unfortunately, this created heavier traffic and larger crowds than usual around the island’s highlights. D) We would also like to reassure you that George was never rushing to return you to the ship. We intentionally never schedule another service immediately after our tours, specifically to allow flexibility in case guests wish to extend their experience or make additional stops during the day. Nicolas was very communicative while we were setting up the customized private tour. He was even there at the ship and personally introduced us to our driver Cristo. Cristo was very good and paitent with us as we changed things around a bit. THen we asked him if he knew a great restaurant to have late lunch and we went to a wonderful spot on the water it was great and authentic! On time, patient, very knowledgable and accomodating!
