We booked the 1.5 hour experience. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 tweenagers). Everything was straightforward when we arrived - good changing rooms and lockers. Our guide/instructor was Ben. He was fab: safety conscious but great fun. He worked around what we wanted to do and worked some games and travelling into the session. He was full of lots of info and also understanding of the different needs in the group. He took some lovely photos and sent them to us immediately afterwards. Thank you Hightide and Ben!
A great activity for four friends and family to enjoy. All had previous experience of kayaking and after brief training we all explored the area and played a few daft water games in the sunshine. Big smiles on all the teens faces (and the older one too!).

We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Ben - it was a private tour (we got lucky since we booked through Get Your Guide as a “small group tour”) and Ben followed our lead in terms of how much kayaking we did vs just sitting on the lake in our Kayaks enjoying the peace, scenery and experience. He even brought tea and biscuits for the trip for the guests which was a nice touch. He took photos and videos of us the entire time so we didn’t have to worry about taking out our phones or anything. I would HIGHLY recommend this experience.
