It was pouring like Crazy which made the next day’s Milford Sounds tour spectacular but we found a way to still enjoy Queenstown and not get wet by going on this amazing wine tour. It totally changed our perspective on what Sauvignon Blanca (which i never used to drink) and Pinot Noirs could be. Special mention to Kinross Winery and Carrick Winery for their spectacular wines and views. Also not to forget our very entertaining guide Martin.

Beautiful afternoon driving through three different wine regions and visiting four boutique wineries. The scenery was breathtaking the entire way, the wines were delicious, and the people on the tour were fantastic. It was also really easy to order bottles and have them shipped home. Highly recommend this tour — it was the perfect, fabulous ending in New Zealand!

We had a great time on our tour, sampling some terrific wines from the region and viewing some beautiful scenery. The lunch was fantastic, and our guide was very knowledgeable about the local history.

I did this tour solo unexpectedly and had a great time. Martin (our guide) was great. I really enjoyed Waitiri which was our first stop. I enjoyed the quaintness of the place and the staff which was also the experience at Misha’s. Carrick did provide a very nice lunch which catered to me as a vegetarian. The wine and the views were good but I did feel like the experience was a bit commercial. Our last stop at Kincross was great, the wines were so good I subscribed to receive a delivery.

Excellent day out, the tour guide was friendly, funny & knowledgeable. The venues were all stunning & the lunch was delicious.Nice to have a smaller group who were all friendly.

We had the best day out with our tour guide John. He made everyone feel so welcome and his knowledge of the wineries and Queenstown was amazing. Our bus had 3 couples including us and we had so much fun, lots of laughs together. Highly recommend this tour, best day out and best value. Every winery was fantastic.

What a great day out! Tasted amazing wines from winemakers I was completely unaware existed. Beautiful scenery and locations. Lunch was incredible. Craig our guide was excellent, funny and full of information.

This was an amazing tour with different wines and vineyard stories and an amazing food experience at The Stoker Room in the middle and a cheese platter to end. Every vineyard we visited created a personable experience which no doubt can be attributed to the relationship held with Appellation Wine Tours and our excellent guide Marty. It was truly one of the best wine tours I have experienced and I will be recommending this experience to my friends and family.
